j ai trouvé semble t il.
c est xinerama qui foutait le dawa.
j ai mis a 0 (et c est pas plus mal) et la ca se lance [:obawi]

hey dite moi,
Avec le dernier compizfusion, je configure avec ccsm le blur effect ... mais ca ne change rien.
Je me souvien qu avec compiz ou beryl, quand il y avait de la transparance, avec le blur effect, derriere ca devenai flou ... ici, rien c est transparent pas mais pas flou...

je me doute mais pas envie de tout reinstall sur l autre pc :sweat:

ya un fichier de log de compiz ? car il s arrete tout seul au bout d une minute ou 2

edit : en fait non il s arrete des que je j utilise des effet assez groumands (cube, alt tab, expo etc)
mais je sais tjs pas pourquoi

Dites, quelqu'un sait quel est le nom de l'effet de fenetre blanc "scintillant" ? Genre quand on rétrecis ou quand on ferme une fenetre, elle disparait en laissant un effet blanc assez immonde...

pour moi ca semble marcher mieux et etre stable depuis les dernieres maj.

je reste hypnotisé devant l effet neige [:cerveau boidleau]

autrement j ai une question (encore)
j ai un dual screen et 4 bureau , et le cube est en fait un octogone.
ya pas moyen de regler ca pour ce les 2 ecrans soit une seule face du cube ?

Je suis aussi très satisfait des dernières màj, tout est vraiment très fluide et stable chez moi.

Pour ton cube regarde du côté de "Desktop cube" dans CCSM. Dans General tu as des options "multi output mode".

Je suis également d'accord avec vous, les performances ont pris un bon coup (dans le bon sens) ces derniers temps. Pour savoir, vous tournez avec quelle version ? Pour ma part, après avoir résolu (c'est un bien grand mot, ceux qui suivent le topic récupération de données comprendront) mes problème suite à la réinstallation de Gutsy, je tourne avec le Fusion intégré à la 7.10, et je dois dire que j'en suis pleinement satisfait : à jour dans les plugins, et très réactif. Je ne sais pas si la version Trevino est plus à jour/performante par contre.

Juste un petit truc autrement, Gutsy intègre Gnome 2.20, avec une nouveauté qui a changé ma vision du bureau (je sais c'est ridicule) : les boutons d'applications ne changent plus de taille sans arrêt dans le panel, et c'était vraiment temps qu'ils s'y mettent ! Prochaine étape : refondre la fenêtre d'ouverture/enregistrement pour faciliter la navigation dans les dossiers, et intégrer un équivalent de SuperCopier à Nautilus

Je suis sur la version Trevino, cela marche relativement bien, j'ai quand même quelques pb d'instabilité parfois (crash de compiz lorsque je change de bureau, ou lorsqu'une animation se lance), mais sinon pas trop de problème.
Le tout sur ma feisty.

J'aimerais bien savoir aussi si la Trevino est en retard par rapport à la version des dépots

J'utilise aussi ceux de Trevino, par contre j'ai tjs mon probleme de décoration blanche qd je passe n'importe quelle fenetre en "max"

je suis sur une :

Je viens de faire une MAJ du kernel (officielle semble-t'il) et depuis, les menus quelqu'ils soient apparaissent SOUS les fenêtres.

Une idée ?

Autre question (toujours dans le bad-trip imprimante epson) :

quand je fais ps -A, j'ai un truc qui se nomme "usb" et je ne sais pas à quoi ça correspond. Si vous saviez ce que c'est, merci de me l'indiquer

Pour ceux qui ont une Radeon Mobility 7500, creer un fichier /etc/drirc pour activer la gestion des textures larges dans DRI :

il y a beaucoup de tutos pour installer Compiz Fusion, moi je voudrais savoir le faire marcher ! Il y a une liste des fonctionnalités et des raccourcis clavier pour les appeler par exemple ? Notamment la fonction à la Exposé pour voir toutes les fenêtres d'un bureau ?
Je suis sous Ubuntu Gutsy Tribe 5 et j'ai le choix entre effets 3D normaux et extra mais sans savoir ce qu'il y a dedans.
Bref, je cherche le mode d'emploi... merci d'avance

Bah tout n'est pas expliqué dans le CompizConfig Settings Manager ?
Aucun problème de mon coté pour trouver ce que je veux comme plugins.

Par contre, ce qui manque, c'est un genre de preview pour les animations des fenetres, histoire de savoir ce que l'on veut désactiver (comme le machin blanc dégueulasse dont j'ai parlé plus haut par exemple )

Ce doc est sympa, le developpement avance assez rapidement, seulement j'aimerais désactiver les animations d'ouverture/fermeture de compiz pour ce dock, vous voyez comment faire ? J'avoue misérer la dessus

pour ce qui est de l'utilisation des drivers libres ( radeon) l'accélération 3D est disponible notamment pour les X700

par ailleurs pour une section un peu plus spécifique a la mandriva 2008.0 il suffit d'utiliser drak3d pour activer compiz-fusion(ou éventuellement metisse).
Ceci dit il est aussi possible d'installer compiz-fusion par le biais de urpmi et de ne l'activer que pour un utilisateur donné en éditant ~/.compositing-wm ainsi

COMPOSITING_WM_START=yes
COMPOSITING_WINDOW_DECORATOR=emerald
COMPOSITING_WM=compiz-fusion

il est ainsi possible de choisir son window_decorator ( gtk-window-decorator sous gnome ou kde-window-decorator sous kde par défaut).

C'est même sûr puisque les deux projets ont fusionnés. De plus c'est Fusion qui va donc bénéficier des améliorations, puisque les deux autres "n'existent plus"

Pas tout à fait, seulement Beryl car Compiz est encore développé.

C'est simple, la fusion de Beryl et de Compiz Extras offrent les plugins.
Compiz reste le coeur.
