President Barack Obama will face reporters in the White House briefing room at 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, his press office announced.
Obama could be expected to face questions on progress in the investigation of the Boston bombing, the prospects for military action in Syria, the state of the economy, and steps his Administration is taking to simplify the implementation of his signature health care law.
He may also be asked about prospects for his second-term legislative agenda, including a comprehensive overhaul of America's immigration system and the failure to get bipartisan legislation to beef up background checks of would-be gun buyers.
