Sinon, cap des 2.000km franchi (largement), premier rupteur grâce à... mon père, qui s'est fendu d'un "fond de 3" sur nationale. Vroum.    
Et l'aller-retour en famille s'est fait sans voies rapides (bon, en fait 6km autour de Saint Dié, mais on va pas chipoter) C'est impressionnant la facilité avec laquelle les autres véhicules chicanes mobiles sont oubliées! Le catapultage en seconde est démoniaque.

N'empêche que 5566km en 24h à fond sur un ovale, je ne m'y amuserais pas forcément...

Avec des prises d'air sur les ailes arrières qui n'ont pas l'air factices et sont peut être même positionnées un peu plus haut, du coup celles de la 911 standard faisaient peut être partie du camouflage.

Faut croire que les circuits européens sont trop loin de l'Asie, ou que le Nürburgring sera trop sinueux pour la version rallongée qu'il était question de faire pour la Chine.  
Mais dans un sens ça reste cohérent avec les Panamera pacecar et Cayenne doctor en ALMS.

        SVD bases their machines on the 1990-1994 964 platform for its perfect  blend of vintage 911® character and technical sophistication, then  dresses them in carbon fiber bodywork that evokes the classic road  racing 911s® of the '60's and '70's. With the addition of optimized  engines -- and transmissions, suspension and brakes lifted from later  air-cooled models -- the transformation is complete. ''We have  respectfully attempted to enhance every element of these cars - they are  extravagant machines for sure and we aim to build them like Swiss  timepieces," says Dickinson.         Cosworth
         
        Founded in 1958 by Mike Costin and Keith Duckworth, Cosworth's sole  purpose was to engineer and build high performance engines for Formula  One race cars, however the iconic racing-engine builder is undergoing  diversification on a major scale with new forays into the performance  aftermarket at their 'Center of Excellence' in Torrance. According to  Ken Anderson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Cosworth, LLC,  the international market has long been searching for a "modernistic  retro" vehicle that has the style, attention-to-detail and true  definition of quality to gain global stature. "Our partnership with  Singer is about taking that level of detail even further," said  Anderson. "As the exclusive engine builder for Singer Vehicle Design, we  have the ability to provide a unique array of powerplants – making for a  very exclusive arrangement."
         
        Cosworth is working closely with engine designer Jae Lee of Mirage  International in San Diego, CA in specifying and calibrating these  air-cooled creations. And, with Cosworth's precise engineering and  development capabilities focused on optimizing the classic flat six  air-cooled power plants, SVD is able to offer a full range of engine  options, with three tiers of performance levels:
         
        · Touring – 3.6-liter engine, producing 300 hp
        · Sport – 3.9-liter engine, producing 380 hp
        · Cup – 3.9 to 4.0-liter engine, producing more than 425hp
         
        These engines will present state-of-the-art thinking and development  in all areas of the Porsche® air- cooled unit with optimization in  cylinder head design, fuel injection, intake and exhaust, to name but a  few. Together, Cosworth and SVD plan to eventually brand these "Singer  Cosworth" engines for aftermarket sales opportunities.

        World-renowned for its high profile concept car projects, product  development, prototype fabrication, and specialty or low volume  production, Aria Group joined forces with SVD in a mutual commitment to  bring the exclusivity of processes such as "pre-preg autoclaving" to a  high performance vehicle practical enough to serve as a daily driver.

Ça vaut quoi par rapport à une GT3/GT3RS niveau efficacité pour un prix proche?

Ahem.
Singer massacre des 911 en prétendant les "sauvegarder" et les "restaurer" pour que la jeune génératioin puisse en proifiter...
Comme mettre des impkats mammaires à Jeanne Moreau et l'envoyer se prostituer sur les docks, pour que la jeune génération s'approprie Jules et Jim, quoi.

C'est beaucoup moins précis qu'une GT3, ça pousse plus fort mais en courbe et dans les enchaînement c'est à la fois plus lourd et plus flou dans le train avant. Une GT3 est beaucoup plus agile, mais aussi beaucoup plus délicate à gérer (2RM légère VS 4RM plus lourde et encrée dans le sol donc)

La GT3 RS 4.0 c'est 500ch aussi.    
 
C'est 2 philosophies différentes.  
Au quotidien la turbo est plus douce et facile, 4 roues motrices et moteur plus "onctueux" je dirais. Elle est plus une GT ultra performante confortable pour de longues distances.  
La GT3 est plus légère, plus affutée et sera plus efficace pour attaquer.

Oui c'est des rediff, mais je vais en profiter pour regarder le reportage sur Rolls (dans 1/2h) que je n'ai pas encore vu.  

Marrant le masquage quasi systématique des logos de marques, alors que toute l'emission est centrée sur tel ou tel constructeur, avec le nom cité toutes les 30 secs ?

La seule vue de la couverture me suffit à dire que "sympa" n'est pas le bon terme.
