J'étais sur 360... avant de découvrir NCAA Football 09 et de me rendre compte que je ne pourrai pas y jouer sans passer sur la PS3 dézonnée. Donc, j'ai changé de cremerie.

Hello,

J'aurais une question à propos de Madden 08 (oui oui, 08... ). Sur un succès ou plutôt deux. Les succès "10 Catches in a Row" et "20 Completion in a Row".

Il faut les faire d'affiler en un seul drive ou bien c'est sur tout le match ? J'imagine que c'est la deuxième solution car avoir 20 actions de jeu sur un seul drive c'est assez inédit quand même

Bah en fait je sais pas car la première fois il ne s'est pas débloqué, j'ai du faire une connerie dans mes calculs mais j'vois pas comment

Enfin bon, là j'ai joué contre un pote, j'avançais centimètre par centimètre mais j'ai réussi toutes mes passes donc j'ai pu chopper les deux du coup (23 passes pour un drive, qui dit mieux :lol: )

Sur le 08, je cherchais à avoir celui du RB à 40 portées dans le match donc, j'ai fait que des courses pendant tout le match... sauf une passe que j'ai complété pour peanuts.
Du coup, j'ai eu le succès des 40 courses ET celui des 100% de passes complétées sans le vouloir. :lol:

Mais bon, ces succès sont mal foutus. Certains, c'est un peu n'importe quoi (entre autres "marquer 84 points" ). Ils auraient du faire des succès basés sur le mode franchise, genre remporter sa division, sa conférence, le Super Bowl...

Non, en général, ils se font pas chier avec les suspensions... sauf quand c'est pour la saison entière ou plus long (Adam Jones, Vick).

Quelqu'un sait comment on règle le temps en multi ? Même pour une session privé entre amis j'ai pas trouvé et c'est un peu relou de jouer sous la neige

I’ve been sent some information in regards to the next Madden roster update. The hope is to have it out by the end of next week. This will be the final one for 09 and will include the removal of players from the IR. It will not be limited to the teams that were in the playoffs as it will include updates for the entire league.

Apparently this update may be more significant than any we’ve seen all year, with some sweeping changes to more reflect the performances of this season and address players who may have been neglected. That is good news considering the majority of the community felt that the ratings should be based somewhat more on current performance than the way things had been going which was more of a slant towards past performance.

The new EA Sports community blog has provided another interesting entry this time from Madden 10 Designer Donny Moore. In it he goes over some significant changes to how player ratings are going to be structured next year. You can read the entire blog posting here.

Every position and every rating has been re-scaled to expand the range of numbers we are dealing with. The Overall Rating for your average NFL player has dropped. Your Joe Average linebacker who was 80 OVR is now dropped down to 70. The players who were before right on the cusp of 90 in a rating category are now down around 85-88…Meaning, there are fewer superstar players out there.

This is pretty big news and a very welcome change from the stagnant way ratings shaped game performance before. We saw the beginning of this in the final roster update of the year. Something that has plagued Madden for years has been the lack of separation between great, good, average, and poor players. You could get by with low rated players in general, especially if they had high speed ratings. It now appears other categories will carry more importance which should produce results more true to life.

I’m not sure if this is a way to make the importance of “team” come across more rather than a collection of individuals though. That is really the next step, to come up with a way that the Cowboys aren’t the best team in Madden just because they have big name talent at skill positions.

J'avais testé la démo et j'avais pas aimé du tout. C'était juste un Madden à 7 contre 7 en mode super arcade. Rien que le fait d'avoir viré l'ambiance playground (jouer dans un parc, sur une plage...) des NFL Street pour mettre une atmosphère AFL, ça l'a pas fait pas pour moi.

Over the past couple years there has been some disappointment over how certain stats weren’t being tracked in Madden. The two main ones have been half sacks and assisted tackles. This obviously isn’t being made out to be any sort of big announcement, but Madden 2010 will have these stats included. So while this week’s info doesn’t have the same punch as the one about the shift in ratings philosophy it does go to show another community request that has made it into the game.

After talking about technology and philosophy for the past few weeks, we thought it was a good idea to actually show you a new feature this week. Now being that it’s so early in the year, we obviously can’t show big grandiose new features, so we wanted to show something that is in the game that came directly from community feedback and wishlists.

Another posting on the Inside EA Blog details improvements that are being made for Madden 2010 to the QB position. Of note are five new ratings categories, layered blending, and changes to how accuracy is determined. This is a significant update and you can read it in full here.

1. Deep Ball Accuracy: Determines the accuracy on deep passes (streaks, deep posts, etc)
2. Medium Passing Accuracy: Determines the accuracy on medium passes (outs, corners, etc)
3. Short Passing Accuracy: Determines the accuracy on short passes (quick smash, flats, etc)
4. Throw on the Run: Creates a modifier to accuracy when the QB is throwing on the run. Every QB will take some sort of accuracy hit when throwing on the run, but a QB that has a high rating here will take a smaller hit.
5. Play Action: Determines the ‘effectiveness’ of Play Action for a QB, i.e. how often they can fake out or freeze the defense (which is obviously weighted against the defenders Play Recognition ratings)

I’m hoping along with the Play Action rating that they can work out the different speeds that QBs execute play actions. One thing that has frustrated me is how deliberate the animations are. However when you look at a QB like Peyton Manning it is quick and crisp. Each QB has their own tendencies or signature style even to that extent. There is little that I find more frustrating than getting sacked before even turning around or removing PA’s from my arsenal because of that risk.

Keeping with the weekly trend of Madden 2010 info being posted on the Inside EA Blog, today lead designer Ian Cummings has detailed some of the improvements made to the Wide Receiver and Defensive Backs positions. This includes the return of the much needed defensive assignments, route running and man coverage, and various WR/DB interactions. Second, we took a page from the FIFA team and added in the concept of ‘jostling’. Personally I am extremely stoked to have this in the game because I’ve written a design for it for 5+ years in a row…unfortunately we just never had the technology to accomplish it. The ‘jostling’ concept is a set of looping 2-man animations that can play for the WR and DB as they run downfield. The main reason that I am so big on these animations is that it really helps alleviate a balance problem that has existed in Madden for years. I’m talking about the fact that traditionally you can send a player with a 99 speed rating (regardless of his other ratings like route running, catching, etc) on a streak and easily get behind a defender in man coverage. In real life, regardless of the difference in speed, a good defensive back can use his body to keep the receiver in check… a fly route is rarely an untouched foot-race sprint to the endzone.
