RUUD INCURS FERGIE'S WRATH
FRUSTRATED Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed his frustration at star striker Ruud van Nistelrooy's continuing injury problems.
The Dutchman is still struggling to shake off a calf problem and Ferguson is unhappy that van Nistelrooy tried to play on with the injury in recent weeks.
"He never told us he had an injury but played one or two games with it and we had to keep taking him off," Ferguson admitted.
"We think he did it four or five weeks ago, maybe during an international break, but the worry is that it has not gone away.
"You have to be careful with calf injuries because they can be a nightmare and creep down to the Achilles area.
"If you don't get to the root of it and clear it up completely it can keep resurfacing, as has happened with Ruud."
Meanwhile, the veteran Red Devils boss has ruled out a loan move to Paris St Germain for Louis Saha.
"I read the quote from the PSG coach that they have no money and that we would have to pay his wages," Ferguson added.
"That would be very nice for them, wouldn't it? There is absolutely no chance of that happening.
"Louis will start back with us in the New Year and is an important part of our plans."
