C'est juste chiant lorsqu'on se frotte à des rapports ou des communications US.

A noter que 12 est divisible par 2, 3, 4 et 6 tandis que 10 ne l'est que par 2 et 5 : lorsqu'on apprend à compter, c'est plutot pratique.

Ca ne vous viendrait d'ailleurs jamais à l'esprit de "transformer" une heure en 100 minutes.

Quand j'ai commencé à bosser, on démarrait les shifts à 5h24 pour les finir à 13h42... Tout ça parceque c'est un découpage à la con sur l'année des heures ramenées à la journée [:lergo:3]

15 ans après... C'est toujours le cas. J'ai parfois un réveil inconscient à 5h30 quand je suis d'astreinte et que je sais que mon opérateur va démarrer son shift avec un test satellite potentiellement foireux [:frog sad:5]

La présentation de ces premières images se fera lors d'un visioconférence depuis Baltimore où se trouve le centre opérations et scientifique de JWST --> youtube.

Mais, grâce à l'ESA, il sera aussi possible d'assister - en physique - à des présentations locales avec des scientifiques présents pour commenter/répondre à des questions.

The observations were not optimized for detection of faint objects, but nevertheless the image captures extremely faint objects and is, for now, the deepest image of the infrared sky. The unfiltered wavelength response of the guider, from 0.6 to 5 micrometers, helps provide this extreme sensitivity.

The image is mono-chromatic and is displayed in false color with white-yellow-orange-red representing the progression from brightest to dimmest. The bright star (at 9.3 magnitude) on the right hand edge is 2MASS 16235798+2826079. There are only a handful of stars in this image – distinguished by their diffraction spikes.

The rest of the objects are thousands of faint galaxies, some in the nearby universe, but many, many more in the distant universe. Credit: NASA, CSA, and FGS team.

Il y a combien de galaxies/étoiles uniques sur cette photo, respectivement combien ne sont que des "doublons" par effet lentille gravitationnelle? [:tinostar]
