uname ne renvoi pas ces données qd il s'agit d'une machine HP. Et "cat /proc/cpuinfo " ne renvoie pas ces nformations qd il s'agit d'une machine sun ou HP. J'ai besoin d'un script générique qui marche sur toutes les plateformes. Je travaille sur un réseau de plus de 900 machines hétérogène (linux, sun, hp...) et je ne peux m'amuser à patcher ttes les machines linux et même si je le fais le pb persiste encore pour le sautres machines.

bah j'ai juste le 'V' de kernel.org
je sais pas où prendre autrement mais il règle plusieurs pb dont 1 qui me forçait à passer au 2.6.10-rc1 qui marche plutot mal, quelque soit sa version (j'ai même essayé mm3 et mm4), notamment avec les drivers nvidia
là tout marche au poil

bizarre en effet, mais faut aussi voir quel est le mode DMA activé pour ce disque (et si c'est un disque de même génération).
