Hi everybody,

I would like to translate the word "features" in french ... I think the best word is "fonctionnalités" or "caractéristiques", but these two words are too long for my need

For example, for a car, the "features" are "Number of doors", or "Color" ... so I think it makes no sense to use "fonction" in french

If you have any idea of a good translation that keep nearly the same size ...

Hello, i was wondering about something that i've noticed in blogs and english forum... some people mostly, girls, says "le" ahead of a word. Like: "Le Gasp!". What does that mean???  

That's usually used in a french related context.

Edit: though "le gasp" for instance seems quite used for any situation

Edit2: lulz ("why it rocks" and "le anthem" )... seems like a wapanese trend?

Doesn't time fly? is the most common translation

it´s funny how time flies in english and doesn´t just pass fast.
 
Every once in a while I wonder about an English expression. This is one of them. How can time litterally fly? the worst it can do, theoretically, is go fast. but still everyone says it flies. It´s interesting, on a semantic point of view.
 
That being said, I will shut my unintersting gob.

Time not being a physical entity, I can't see what makes you think it'd rather "go" than "fly". And it does "pass", in English, just like in French
