La trypophobie, la peur des trous
 
Des chercheurs de l’Université de l’Essex en Angleterre ont présenté cette vidéo à des centaines de personnes pour savoir si elles avaient cette phobie des trous. Et le résultat déjoue nos attentes : 11 pour cent des hommes et 18 pour cent des femmes présentent des réactions de type démangeaisons, maux de tête ou tremblements devant ces images.

En voyant ces motifs, notre œil a l’impression d’être au bord du trou, il panique et croit voir une bête venimeuse.
 
Voilà donc une hypothèse intéressante pouvant expliquer l'origine de la trypophobie : il s'agirait initialement d'un réflexe de fuite devant des animaux venimeux, qui se serait ancré dans les structures nerveuses de nos ancêtres.
