OK you don't have a wireless router? you don't need the Optus 3G because you are not required to connect to the internet you will simply be creating a network between your computer and your iPhone. I see you are on Win XP so you need to create an ad hoc network, this makes your computer the access point for other devices to connect to. Full instructions for creating an ad hoc wirless network on XP are here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp [...] adhoc.mspx After you create the network on your iPhone go to settings then wifi connect to the network you just created with your computer. Open Air Sharing and click the AirPort icon (next the the ? icon) and you will see the IP address of your phone. Open up web browser and type in the IP address (dont forget the port number eg. 169.254.223.67:8080) and you will see the Air Sharing page. To add files go to: -My Network Places -Add Network Plae -Choose other network connection -Click next -Type in your iPhone IP address -Click Open this network place when I click finish -If you setup password you will be asked for it -Your done, just copy files to your iPhone
