Hi everyone, I owned a 2015 991.1 GT3 for a while and always wanted to experience a GT4 RS. After reading countless reviews and speaking with some GT4 RS owners, I finally decided to make the switch.
To be honest, my biggest concern before buying the GT4 RS was that it would be too harsh on the road and excessively noisy inside the cabin, as many reviews seemed to suggest. However, after spending some time with the car, my experience has been quite different.
In Normal mode, I actually find the GT4 RS rides softer and feels more comfortable than my GT3, especially when driving over rough or bumpy roads. The suspension seems to absorb imperfections better than I expected.
The only thing I’m still getting used to is the carbon bucket seat. I haven’t quite found the perfect seating position yet, particularly for my lower back and seat-back angle, but I’m sure that will come with time.
The Akrapovič exhaust suits the car perfectly. It adds character without being overwhelming and enhances the overall driving experience, both inside and outside the cabin. The sound is simply addictive.
After all the research, deliberation and second-guessing, I can honestly say that, for me personally, this was the right decision. No regrets at all. Every time I open the garage door and see the car, it puts a smile on my face.
I know the GT4 RS isn’t a cup of tea for everyone, and some people will still prefer the GT3. Both are fantastic cars in their own way. This is simply my personal experience after owning both, and so far I couldn’t be happier with the GT4 RS.
