C'est à cause de VirtualBox: Je récupère une ISO mais je n'ai pas besoin de la graver.
La dernière version de VB permet de booter sur une image ISO qui peut se trouver n'importe où.
C'est très pratique. Et avec une ISO on est sur d'avoir tout.

The Slackware Linux distribution (v. 1.00) is now available for
anonymous FTP. This is a complete installation system designed for
systems with a 3.5" boot floppy. It has been tested extensively with
a 386/IDE system. The standard kernel included does not support SCSI,
but if there's a great demand, I might be persuaded to compile a few
custom kernels to put up for FTP.

This release is based largely on the SLS system, but has been enhanced and
modified substantially. There are two main disk series, A (13 disks) and
X (11 disks).

Je vais installer la slack 13.1 ce WE sur mon nouveau disque dur. J'ai une question: comment je fais pour mettre à jour la slack ?
Si je regarde le changelog de mon architecture (32 bits):

Je dois lire du bas vers le haut et mettre à jour chaque paquet dont il est fait mention, c'est ça ?
Ou tout au moins les "security fix" ?

bah pour apprendre un peu mieux liux, j'aime pas trop lire juste un bouquin et préfère apprendre par la pratique. Sous arch j'ai pas fait grand chose qui sort des sentiers battus.
