En me baladant sur mon site de modélisme préféré, je tombe sur cet étrange accessoires, prévu pour ce gros veau volant qu'est l'A1 H Skyraider.
Après une petite recherche, je constate que ce chiotte a bel et bien été monté comme charge sur un A1H Skyraider de l'unité VA-25 de la Navy en Novembre 1965, opérant à cette époque sur l'USS Midway. Ce qui donnait ceci :
Mais ceci fait aussi écho aux petits farceurs du VA-195 qui eux avaient en 1952 fixé sous un de leurs AD-4 un évier, attaché à une bombe Les coréens n'ont sans dû en trouver que des confettis.
Tout ceci n'est pas non plus sans rappeler le fameux Spitfire Mk IXc "Beer Delivery".
Mais cette fois pas question de larguer la précieuse binouze sur les fridolins puisqu'il s'agissait de ravitailler les potes déployés en Normandie qui n'avaient que du cidre douteux à boire. Des P51 et des Typhoon auraient aussi fait ce genre de livraisons

Si ça avait été une tv autonome à piles, la pub n'aurait pas manqué de montrer des photos d'un usage exterieur.
C'est bien sûr impossible à l'époque, vu la consommation du tube cathodique et des autres tubes à vide (filament de chauffage, haute tension, etc).
Il s'agit donc bien d'une tv "transportable", avec une alimentation secteur classique.
Il y a eu néanmoins des appareils à tubes alimentés à piles, notamment des talkies-walkies militaires.
Dans les années 70, mes parents avaient une télé que l'on regardait en vacances en l'alimentant avec une batterie de bagnole (c'était une pizon bros comme marque) [/mylife]
