20 ans minimum d'après le WTO [:aloy]

 

1. Rien n'empêche que la protection dure plus longtemps
2. 20 ans, seuls les brevets d'avant 89 sont expirés. Et pour les brevets US d'avant 1995, c'est la date la plus tardive entre 20 ans après la demande et 17 ans après que la demande soit acceptée. Un brevet déposé en 1992 et accepté en 2001 va courir jusqu'en 2018. En l'état actuel, et en tout cas pour les USA, il y a des brevets "réclamés" sur mp3 peuvent courir jusqu'en 2017: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MP3#L [...] ent_issues

Je me souviens d'un gars qui bosse dans les brevets qui racontait que beaucoup d'américains se faisaient baiser en Europe à cause de cette différence  :D.
