et alors attention les yeux, c'est du 1080p 60fps, et (a priori, la je deduis) 30fps si la 3D est activé (oui y'a de la 3D, pour ceux que ca interesse) Enfin, les assets et les textures ont était revus pour une meilleur intégration en full hd, tout en respectant le matériaux d'origine.

Friends to the end! Ueda said at the start of the presentation that he is quite confident in how the concept has been polished and that the team is in full production on The Last Guardian. You're trying to find elements to build the bond, the emotional attachment, as seen in the TGS trailer. Uh oh. Ueda says that the holiday 2011 release date is their "target." They will do their best, he says. "The natural assumption is that they just took the PS2 version and ported it to PS3. It's not that simple." Sounds like they're doing some heavy texture re-work on these re-releases. On top of uprezzing the two titles for PS3, they will also be playable in stereoscopic 3D. The menu screen just popped up, showing Ico and SotC playable from the same build. They were just two items on a menu list. There will be PlayStation Trophy support. Spring 2011 for the collection. With Ico, we got a little burned, Ueda says. The European Ico, which features a different ending, will be the universal release. The team calls this the "complete" version. Ashcraft asks about the release situation -- the U.S. and European market will get a two-in-one release. One disc. We've got another question from the crowd, something about the emotional connection, which everyone is trying to figure out. I just asked Ueda about the Colossi that were cut from the PS2 release of the game to see if they had plans to include anything extra in the games. Ueda says that immediately after finishing Shadow of the Colossus he felt bad that some things were cut, but now he feels it's a complete game. They are "brushing up" some of the art assets. As far as the Ico box art, he has some concerns about that and will be hopefully addressing that problem. Someone asked if Ueda is now approaching game creation differently as he has had a lot of success in the past ten years. Also, Ico will be re-framed for high-definition resolution, Ueda said in response to a question. He says he looks back at, say, a game like Ico and how he designed it. And there are some areas he wonders why he spent so much time and energy on one part. Someone in the audience wants to know about the development of the game and why it took so much time. Ueda is now talking about the design elements. So, like, they spent time working on how the Trico character movements, so it can move easily. Another would be how in the past one artist would work on a single level, but this time, there was a more flexible work flow so that one artist would not be locked in to a single level. Trico is dynamically able to adjust to certain level designs, as in the past, the team had to specifically animate characters to move within rooms with lower ceilings and such. Ueda says he is "not sure yet" whether The Last Guardian will have 3D support. One of the elements that the trailer tries to communicate, Ueda says, is that this, their first PS3 game, utilizes the scale of Trico and boy and how levels will dynamically change. The more they say about that aspect, however, the more they'll give away about the game. Ueda was just asked about how The Last Guardian relates story-wise to the previous Team ICO games, which had a few common threads. Ueda said he originally intended to make The Last Guardian a completely different title. Back in the days of Ico and SotC, characters needed to animate in accordance with the level. The new dynamic animation system in The Last Guardian is Ueda's greatest sense of accomplishment, he says. From an artistic point of view, he likes what he's seen with the game character's eyes. They're more communicative, he says. Now he is being asked why his games typically feature young characters. He says that during game development, it just kinda happens. For example, in The Last Guardian, they thought of Trico. Then they needed a young character to balance out the power of Trico. Ueda sure loves that weak-strong balance! When they started, Ueda was thinking of making the young character of The Last Guardian a girl.
