AZ Alkmaar defender Jan Kromkamp says Aston Villa have not shown a serious interest in him despite reports he is a target for the club.
Villa boss David O'Leary could have as much as £20million to spend on new players this summer, and the 24-year-old full-back has been linked with a switch to the Midlands on numerous occasions.
O'Leary has said he wants to strengthen all areas of his squad in the summer and Kromkamp has been mentioned but, according to the player, only Spanish giants Valencia have shown a true interest in him.
"The only team that has shown a serious interest in me is Valencia, the rest are just rumours," he said.
"It could be that other clubs have gathered information on me and have come to see me, but nobody else has been as serious as Valencia."
A new striker is also high on O'Leary's wanted list and Newcastle United forward Craig Bellamy is rumoured to be one of his targets this summer.
