Techniquement c'est bien un reseau de plus d'une centaine de nodes opérés par plusieurs entités distinctes, c'est pas decentralisé à ton sens parce que Ripple se garde la possibilité d'avoir le dernier mot pour le moment sur les nodes "conseillés" (les leurs).

Ca reste plus decentralisé que d'autres cryptos, meme s'ils sont dans les mauvais élèves.

Pas tout à fait,
Il s'agit surtout de se mettre en règle pour pouvoir vendre en toute sérénité des token de tous types (sans qu'il y ait de class action à la suite de faillites en pagaille (de particuliers))
Pour le moment, c'est juste "ceinture/bretelles" pour être ok niveau régulations en BtoC
Pour moi, le move de GS avec circle, c'est plutôt le chemin inverse: vendre directement aux investisseur privés toute la panoplie des produits financiers tradis + cryptos, pour court circuiter justement les circuits traditionnels
