My mother pushed me a bit to enter into Scala. I said ?Pfffff? to a young choir ...
My hobby was basketball and never I?ve planned to integrate into a young choir.
I tried and now I?m singing there since 2 years. Not everybody can integrate Scala into this way. Your voice has to be tonally and melodies have to swing.
Scala is a pure recreation with a professional approach.

Scala on the Rocks compiles a CD and is very proud of it. The songs we are singing with Jasper Steverlinck are so great. My favourite is ?Can?t Get you out my bed? of Kylie Minogue. Working together with Hooverphonic and Sterverlinck is for a lot of young guys ? The Top?. They are ordinary people who are working in a professional way. I?m also a bit professional (lol) I?ve a mobile because we are never coming at home at the same time and from the same place. So my parents can receive a call at every moment.
 
Naked for Scala
 
The radio DJ Peter Van de Veire bet that a version of Puddle of Mudd's "She Hates Me" by the classical Scala Choir would not win a listener-voting contest on his station (Studio Brussels). He told to all listeners that  ?If  Scala Before Christmas N°1 become, He will run naked through the Brussels main market square».
We never thought that we would win. and we got It more than a week... . It?s a bet....

From my point of view, I would like to stay with Scala at semi-professional level what actually it is, than become really professional. Let us be a little select and underground.  As you want to be really a pro and earn a lot of money. It?s generates a too higher pressure on the choir which is very bad for the general environment of the group and the final quality of the songs.
Memories
My best memory was our travel to Canada where we sung together on the beach .Our performance with Hooverphonic at one of the biggest European rock festival was also a great moment. As young teen it?s untellable. I had 15 and I never came to a rock festival. Before our show we went on high pressure but during this we enjoy it very much. Now, we are managing our stress and are relaxing in silence before any performance.  
Sarah Bettens
Apart from Scala, I play with my own band and in a song group at the music academy. With my own band ?The fragile?, I play rock and pop and our own play list. At the academy I sing with other teen in a latin-jazz band. I?m a little jealous about the voice of Sarah Bettens and Jasper Steverlinckx. I?m a soprano. It?s swing good.

ouai je trouve aussi que c trop court. mais bon j'ai 2h30 de scala sur mon pc avait tout les album rippé donc ca va je peux me les passer en boucle sans qu'y ai trop de repetition.
