Bon un pti problème un peu casse pieds quand meme, je m'explique :
J'ai installé cedega sans trop de soucis ensuite j'ai installé Steam idem pas de soucis, l'installe et les mises à jours se font correctement. Quand je lance le jeu il est en 640*480 par default donc je change la résolution en 1024*768 et là les fps descendent à 4 alors qu'en 640*480 j'étais à 62 fps !! Un peu chiant quand meme  :(  
Une solution ?
 
edit : Et pour SOF2 des que le jeu se lance au menu impossible de choisir quoi que se soit ca ram comme pas possible.

Bon bah voilà....Finallement je m'avoue vaincu !
Je m'était juré que j'arriverai à faire fonctionner Cedega sans demander de l'aide mais en lisant bien les forums et tout et tout ! Vous avez compris : je n'y suis pas arrivé....*snif*
Voici mon aventure :
- moi qui débute dans l'utilisation de linux....après quelques auto-formations accélérées (vous avez déjà essayé de faire reconnaitre un scanner sur port parallèle avec linux ;)), et quelques sueurs froides (gdm me fera toujours aussi peur !)...j'ai eu besoin de bon temps.
Et là je me suis dit...et si j'essayai de jouer à mon Starcraft avec mon tout beau tout bien linux ! (grossière erreur !..lol)
- bon j'ai découvert wine (g pas encore fini les 63 pages du manuel)...mais je n'en étais pas satisfait...j'arrive pas à installer de jeux avec ! (installer si, les faire fonctionner non !
-et puis j'ai entendu parler de cedega...mince...c payant...oui mais ya la version CVS.
- oki...C parti ! et l'aventure commence...ap mes échec de téléchargement par CVS..j'ai downloader le tar.bz fourni par le magazine linux+ (ca doit etre en téléchargement sur le site).
- je suis bien les insructions...et je lance mon WineCVS.sh....évidement : message d'erreur ! je viens me renseigner ici...il me manquait en effet xlib.dev (g une debian). Bon je vérifie cette fois que j'ai tous les packages qu'il faut (g même du en installer trop)
- et c parti pour la compilation...au bout d'une demi heure...j'ai pensé que ca avait encore une fois échoué (g déjà arrété l'instal plusieurs fois en pensant cela..vu le temps que ca prend)...mais non....INSTALLATION COMPLETED !!!

bon aller...faut voir ce que ca donne je tape : "cedega"  
unknown command...arf...ca commence mal...je retourne sur le site....ah ok...pour la version cvs c "cvscedega" : unkown command !!! argh...(j'essai "Winex", "cedegacvs", "va te faire..f..", mais toujours la même réponse bash:UNKNOWN COMMAND).
je lis qu'il doit y avoir un répertoire .cedega dans mon home/user/...il n'existe pas...arf !
j'essai en root..je cherche le répertoire cedega..IL EXISTE PAS SUR MON ORDI...par contre ya un répertoire .WineCVS dans mon répertoire personnel.
bon c mieux que rien...je fouille dedans..je trouve une application shell cvscedega..je lance...mince c pas executable..un petit chmod +x...ca marche toujours pas ! (c'était le 2ème jours d'acharnement...je viens d'enfoncer mon poing dans 5cm du mur !)
 
Bon ben voilà...g mené mon enquête sur plusieurs forum, g pas trouvé de cas similaire ! je suis sur que c'est juste une connerie ! et c tellement évident...que je le vois pas ! :)

Euh...merci pour ta réponse le scientifique, mais peux-tu être plus précis stp ?
pendant l'install, rien ne m'a été proposé, et je ne vois rien dans la doc ? peux-tu me donner le lien ou je trouverai les détails ou la commande à executer. Il faut modifier le PATH ? c'est ça ?

moi j'ai réussi à installer cedega je lance starcraft mais là la souris est très lente, c'est saccadée. est ce à cause de mon processeur trop peu puissant (sempron 2200+) ou c'est normal?

J'ai cru comprendre que cela venait de ma carte graphique
 
les headers des pilotes Nvidia 6629 ne passent pas (enfin, c'est ce que j'ai eu perso), donc, il faut repasser en 6111 le temps de l'installation, et remettre les 6629 ensuite (pas de souci alors pour jouer).
 
Comment faire pour vérifier que j'ai bien 6629 en header, comme le mettre en 6111 et ensuite les remettre en 6629.

La compilation prend combien de temps à peu près ?
Sous mdk10, je suis à la phase 5 depuis au moins 20minutes. (XP1800+)

Je ne comprends pas trop ce qu'il faut faire une fois l'installation terminée.
J'ai par exemple un exe pour l'installation d'un jeu de cartes. Je dois le mettre dans un répertoire spécifique ? :??: :??:

Quelqu'un a testé ground control 2 avec cedega ?

Hello tout le monde,
 
Je viens de tester rapidement le cvs, tout se passe bien, mais  dès que je veux lancer qqchose, j'ai une error 21 :


$ cedega 2k3demo.exe  
/usr/lib/transgaming_cedega//winex/bin/wine: can't exec '2k3demo.exe': error=21


 
J'ai googlé rapidos, ca semble venir de la configuration du kernel. Peut-être que qqun à une solution bien précise à partager ?

Une réponse à cette question m'intéresse, j'ai le meme message d'erreur sous MDK10.1, et le profil 1 (cvscedega_head), et impossible de trouver une solution  [:airforceone]

Si c'est un kernel > 2.6.8, c'est probablement LA que tu trouveras la solution. En fait ça à fonctionné pour moi.

C'est con, j'aimerai bien jouer à un vrai jeu de stratégie, mais le premier n'a pas l'air supporté :/ enfin dès fois oui, dès fois non...
