C'est quand même bourré de bug ce jeu. En plus, l'interface est pas trop ergonomique. C'est souvent assez lourd, surtout l'inventaire qui est très mal foutu. Je trouve celui de BGII bien plus pratique.  
 
On a très peu d'infos sur les personnages (j'ai un ability drain, je sais même pas de combien). Quel est mon bonus offensif effectif ? j'en sais rien.
 
Bref, c'est très orienté combat, mais c'est pas précis du tout.
 
En plus, le début, ça manque franchement d'action, et j'ai l'impression que la suite, ça manque surtout d'intrigue...
 
Bref, après ma première impression, je trouve pas ça aussi passionnant que j'avais espéré.

pour les bonus de combat j'espère que tu plaisantes ??!!! tu les as sous tes caracs et t'a ka juste cliquer dessus pour savoir comment l'ordi arrive au total, ya pas plus précis !!!
 
Sinon c'est vrai que le mélange intrigue + combat est vraiment pas top (trop de l'un ou trop de l'autre) et que les quêtes sont nazissimmes ... (va me chercher le cadavre du gros poisson là-bas, va dire au prêtre qu'il faut qu'il m'accepte dans son ordre ...)

Ben, après mon ability drain, rien n'a changé. Ensuite, j'ai l'impression qu'il report le "Base Attack Bonus" et non le total en fonction de l'arme.
 
Bref, autant, il y a de bonnes idées (de très bonnes idées) autant l'ergonomie est franchement merdique.
 
J'arrive pas à avoir Fruella. Vous avez réussi ?

nan en fonction de l'arme il te reporte très exactement le total.
 
Sinon elle c'est quelle quete fruella ??? (réponds en *spoiler*)

on fais comment pour voir les proprietes magiques d'un objet svp ? on peut voir, par ex pour une armure, le bonus AC et le bonus max etc., mais comment voir les trucs magiques ?

on peut pas, c'est fais exprès, à toi de deviner en regardant l'effet sur tes skills ou tes différentes caracs.
 
Ils vont peut-être le mettre ds le patch, pas sûr.
 
Sinon toutes les descriptions sont sur le DMG v3.5

J'ai libéré le prince Thommel au 3ème sous-sol du temple (si je me souviens bien) et l'ai dc ramené à la surface. Là il me dit qu'il me fera parvenir une récompense.
Or je sais que cette récompense, c'est une putain de lame (pour l'avoir lu sur d'autres forums), mais bon, j'ai tjrs pas eu cette fameuse récompense.
Vous savez à quel moment elle arrive ? et où ? c'est aléatoire ?
D'ailleurs y'a le mm type de situation après avoir libéré un couple elfe apparemment assez important. Là aussi ils disent qu'ils m'enverront une récompense, mais tjrs rien...  :pfff:

en te balladant sur la carte du monde tu vas faire une rencontre aléatoire ou tu n'auras pas le choix de fuir,ce sera un émissaire du prince qui te donnera la lame,à condition que ta partie soit d'alignement bon

Bon, je suis allé m'acheter le jeu, j'ai peaufiné la création de mes persos, et je dois avouer que je suis pas déçu.
 
Pour ce qui est des bugs j'en ai trouvé qu'un pour le moment: quand on fabrique une "cloak of resistance +1 +2 ou +3" on reste avec +1 de bonus seulement qqe soit la cape.
 
Pour les oublis: ils ne donnent pas la possibilité de coisir quel type d'attaque on fait lors des attaques d'opportunité, ce qui a tendance à favoriser les gros bourrins à la greatsword que les finots avec leur chaine  :whistle:  
 
Mais j'accroche grave sinon !

sinon je viens de découvrir l'effet devastateur du "great cleave" : mon fighter vient de se faire en 1 coup les 7 débiles qui l'entouraient !!! trop fort !!

sinon j'ai trouvé une soluce pour les identify de mass qui coutent 100PO à chaque fois >> le craft de wand of identify !! ça coute 300PO, 30XP et hop un baton de 50 charges !!!

edit : tout ce que je peux penser du jeu est dedans. Et vous verrez qu'une fois de plus la décision "politique" de sortir le jeu sans qu'il passe ne serait-ce qu'une 1/2 journée dans une QA team est fortement critiquée ...

One last thing that somewhat mystifies me: some encounters are so hard, they don't even yield experience. Before I continue, a brief primer on how experience points work in D&D 3.5E is necessary. Every monster is assigned a Challenge Rating (CR) based on how hard it is to kill. The experience gained from killing a monster depends on both the monster's CR and the party's level. If the CR of the monster is 8 or more above the party's level, no experience is gained. So here we come to a given encounter in ToEE.

bah comme j'ai compris c'est dans les regles d'ad&d 3.5
moi je trouve ca un peu débile, cai un maniere de dire va pas par là t'es pas encore assez fort, viens finir le bout de scénard par ici avant
Mais bon si un joueur arrive avec tactique et chance ( bah wai il en faut aussi souvent ) a vaincre les mobs de traop haut level, je vois pas pourquoi on le récompense pas :/

lu tout le monde,  
Petite question de noob sur ce super jeu : Comment revenir en ville quand on est entré par mégarde dans un donjon (la "moathouse" des premières quêtes) , existe-t-il un sort de recall? Ou c'est nické , je dois cleaner le donjon pour ressortir ? (si c le 2ème cas , je dois recommencer parce que mes persos sont trop faibles :( )
 
En tous cas , j'accroche bien à ce jeu ou je retrouve un peu de fallout/bg(combat) et d'arcanum...pas de bug pr l'instant (oui bon je commence c normal).

Normalement, dans les règles de D&D (3 et +), le nombre d'XP que tu gagnes dépend de l'écart de niveau entre les monstres et la moyenne du groupe (en gros).

je ne sais pas ce qu'en pense les autres mais en tout cas moi ça faisait très très longtemps qu'un jeu ne m'avait pas autant scotché à mon écran ... ça tombe bien il commence à faire vraiment froid  :D  
 
Quand je pense ce que ça aurait été s'il avait été plus long ... genre à la BG ou BG2 ... quel bonheur  :love:

c'est entre IWD et BG2 -> plus orienté IWD que BG quand même, de part la simplicité des quêtes.

Pour ceux qui pensent encore qu'il n'y pas eu GROS FOUTAGE de gueule d'avancer la sortie de TOEE, voici la liste des bugs référencés sur le forum officiel >> (ça se passe de commentaires ...  :o  :pfff:  )
 
New Bugs on 10/5/2003 Morning  
-Healing/Inflict group of spells have their values calculated incorrectly. The game add the level bonus to the dice roll instead of adding it to the result. Exemple: Cure moderate wounds casted by a level 3 cleric should cure 2D8 + 3, but in the game its 2D11. Thanks to the Co8 mod group for that one.  
-Rufus refuses to leave your party once added (actually, he gives no response, it just breaks out of the dialog screen)  
-The ¡§weaver¡¨ NPC causes all kind of CTD of game freezes. It CTD when trying to teleport to any map, and it freezes when trying to walk to a town map (Nulb or Homlet). Also he says he¡¦s supposed to leave when you come to a town, but he doesn¡¦t. Past bugs report indicate that this kind of problems happen with all NPCs who ask you to escort them out of the dungeon.  
-When casting Mordekainen¡¦s Faithful Hound, they become permanent although they start behaving like regular wolves (although invincible) once you sleep. I have two hounds that have been following me around for a week now. I have no option to dismiss them.  
-The critical threat range of a keen rapier is incorrectly stated as 16-20. This value should be 15-20 (ie it should crit on 6 values, twice the three it had before)  
-Opportunist ability does not seem to function.  
- ¡§Keen Edge¡¨ spell is permanent  
-Sometimes, in combat, it will be one of my character's turns, and their action hourglass will be completely empty or half full for no reason  
-Mind fog is rolling against fortitude saves. It should be using will saves  
-Sneak attacks are not occuring against helpless enemies. Specifically, if the creature is held (via hold person, hold monster, etc.) sneak attack damage is not being added  
-The wheelwright's wife becomes hostile after you take her out of the temple and bring her back to her husband (she attacked the party¡¦s cleric after the quest is completed and she left the party)  
- Power attack should work with unarmed srikes, and it currently does not, making monks the world over quite unhappy.  
- If you are using power attacking and fighting with two weapons, the to-hit penalty should still apply to the off hand weapon, even if the bonus damage does not. Currently, your off hand ignores power attack entirely, which because quite icky when you are duel wielding with Thromel's sword  
-Cleric of Boccob with the Trickery domain gets Bluff and Hide as class skills at FIRST level, but NOT after that  
-Armor and shield enhancement bonues do not stack, the game picks the highest of the two. (i.e a character with 10 dex (no bonus) and using an a chainmail armor +2 and heavy shield +1 should have 20 armor class, but the game gives 19.)  
-using ¡§search¡¨ with a rogue makes my NPC¡¦s swing their weapons (noticed it with Scoorp and a wolf)  
-Elmo would enter sneak mode when my rogue and sorcerer did too (whoa, seems like NPCs are trying to do what the PCs do¡K if Scoorp in the above bug can¡¦t sneak, maybe swining his club is the game¡¦s default move?)  
- Using a wand of magic missiles does not flip my sorcerer out of invisibility.  
-Group assignments are not put in the save-game, you have to re-assign them everytime  
-Had my rogue charmed by Falrinth and returned to town without killing him (did not know how at the time). Charm prevented me from opening the radial menu for the rogue. Resting and dispel magic did not remove effect. Went back and killed Falrinth, but that also did not work, though another member that became charmed during the fight lost the charmed effect.  
-After Scorpp joins you, his pet remains hostile and must be killed  
-When sneaking, your black bear companion can only move approximately five feet before no longer being able to move. This occurs any time a party member is sneaking  
-Some locked doors can be walked through when in combat mode. I've seen this on level 2 of the Temple, central stair room, east door  
-Charm person should not make your allies attack you (you allies often target you with AoO).  
-According to the manual, Inspire Greatness will last 5 rounds after the end of the song, which I thought might coincide with each of the IG spell icons above the character portrait. However, my characters that had IG on them, would have more than 5 Inspire Greatness icons above their portrait at times  
- The additional +1 for Inspire Courage granted at bard level 8 is definitely not working for both the saves or the attack and damage rolls. The song doesn't improve like the manual says  
Acrobatic feat: Only gives a +1 to tumble and slieght of hand it seems  
-Skill synergies: Apperently don't work too well. Several skill synergies don't seem to be calculating properly, esp. those connected to the Bluff skill  
-Bardic music: inspire competence - it just doesn't seem to work right. I can be standing right next to my aly and it won¡¦t work  
-NPCs can be "looted" of all their stackable items, except the last. For example, 199 of the 200 gold in the NPC's stash can be transferred to a PC, or 29 of 30 arrows. Once the lot has been transferred, the message "NPC refuses to drop item" will again pop up if you attempt to transfer the entire lot  
 
New Bugs on 10/2/2003  
-Info on magic vestment bug: Magic Vestment spell does increase the enchantment of armor but it does not apply to AC  
- According to the game manual, bards should be able to fascinate 1 additional creature every 4th level during the initial start song action. I've never been able to fascinate more than 1 creature. If I try and use fascinate again from the radial menu while the original song is playing, it says "invalid action."  
-Inspire Courage is supposed to add an additional +1 to moral and fear saves and attack and damage rolls I believe at level 7 according to the game manual. So at that point, Inspire Courage should show a +2 to the attack and damage rolls, it doesn't. In other words, the song never improves.  
- My bard didn't get the song Inspire Greatness until she was level 10, which is different than what the game manual states. I have always maxed Perform every level, so that shouldn't be the reason.  
- Using Inspire Greatness has resulted in permanent yellow notes floating around the heads of the group members my bard has cast it on...even after reloads.  
- Using Inspire Greatness results in the song icon duplicating itself over the character portraits. The character portrait will end up with 5+ Inspire Greatness icons above it.  
- Inspire Greatness is doesn¡¦t add additional hit points  
-Rogue can sneak attack elementals¡K  
-If you have a character using ¡§mirror image¡¨, Iuz will go to attack him when he is summoned, but won¡¦t do anything except sit beside the mage using mirror image.  
-Druids don¡¦t get ¡§Woodland stride¡¨  
- Someone was fighting Falrinth and noticed Falrinth was casting spells and getting a +3 bonus to his concentration from Feat: Skill Focus Appraise.

-Selecting for rogue special ability at lvl 10 is messed up. almost all feat are golden and once you have picked one,you cannot cancel it for something else (you have to cancel lvl up and redo)  
- The character creation process does not advance from the "Stats" step to the "Race" step when alternating between the "Advanced" method and "Basic Method" of stat generation (like if you change your mind and decide to roll instead of using point buy)  
 
 
New Bugs on 10/1/2003  
-Elvish armors give 2 extra -2 skill check modifiers.  
-Hydras have one AoO per round. It should be one per head.  
-The level 1 cleric spell ¡§Remove Fear¡¨ doesn¡¦t work against balor/zuggi fear. (intentional to make those fights more interesting ? )  
-Ettins apply only half of their strength bonus to damage with off-hand attacks when in fact they are one of the few creatures who can apply their full strength damage to off-hand attacks with weapons  
-When someone puts his rogue in sneak mode, it puts his NPC in sneak mode too (personnaly had something similar happen where putting rogue in sneak mode made my NPC swing his weapon. It was not occurring all the time though).  
-Someone with a druid/bard has the problem where casting a ¡§read magic¡¨ memorized in his druid spells uses up that spell slot and a ¡§read magic¡¨ memorized in his bard spells too. Which proves that two for the price of one is not always good !  
-Romag (head priest of earth temple) doesn¡¦t appear in the creatures log book after you kill him.  
-Save game corruption bug: Soemone loading is quick saved game to find out that all his character starts had gone to 0, with equipment having no effect in game.  
-Level advancement for restricted classes seems messy. Someone had a level 7 fighter, then took a level of monk. At the next level up, he wanted to take monk again, but he could not.  
-Elementals that are summoned by enemy spellcasters are considered enemies of the spellcasters who summoned them. That is, the elementals attack anything in range, and the group who summoned them attack the elementals.  
-Halfling Sianghams don¡¦t appear in the list of exotic weapon proficiency for haflings. The weapon (sold in hommlet) is also printed as ¡§Halfing Siangham¡¨. Notice the typo of the inverted l and f. Also, regular sianghams don¡¦t seem to be in the game (weird).  
 
New Bugs on 09/30/2003 Evening  
-Someone has 2 evokers in his party with different opposing schools. He scribed a magic missile with one of the evokers and gave it to the other to copy in his spellbook. The other evoker can¡¦t copy it, although another character (druid/wizard) can copy it fine. The evoker can learn magic missile at level up, no problem. It seems that his opposing schools are stopping him from copying the scroll¡K Scroll of magic missile might not be tagged as evocation. I¡¦ll try to get more info on the exact opposing schools of that evoker.  
-When using a longbow +2 enchanted with the Shock property, an arrow animation is often displayed in addition to the ¡§shock¡¨ animation, each taking a seperate path to the target.  
-heavy encumbrance doesn¡¦t reduce the max dex. bonus to +1, its +3 like if it was medium armor.  
-Equipping a barbarian helm on a dwarf barbarian causes CTD.  
-Help file bugs: Spell Darkvision shows only the name but no description. Modenkainen's Private Sanctum is listed in the wizards and sorcerer spells (level 2), although it isn¡¦t available in the game.  
-Game CTD twice for someone who was fighting the Balor and delivering what he believes was the killing blow.  
-Game performance drops really bad after the fight with Hedrak and during the nodes. Basically, the game ¡§hangs¡¨ much more often than normal and for extended periods of time (15 secs to 1 minutes). Few people reported this, including me.  
-Unarmed Strike seems not to be available to Halflings for weapon finesse. This might also be the case with gnomes, as the game might not recognize unarmed strike as a light weapon for small characters.  
- "clothing", i.e mystics garb, farmers garb, nobles garb, etc. that go in the "chest" slot prevent any ability requiring light armour from working. (i.e. fast barbarian movement, ranger fighting styles, tumble, etc.) However, "clothing" that goes in the robe slot, i.e. robes, monk robes, etc. do NOT prevent any ability requiring light armour from working (whew).  
-When a 3rd level wizard creates a scroll of magic missile, it fires only one missile when used. Unfortunately the poster didn¡¦t mention the level of the scroll that came out after scribing, but obviously its lower than it should and is consistent with other similar problems posted before. More info: According to the rules, lowest level required to cast should be applied when scribing a spell, but the game sometimes uses the caster level, or at other times the min level required to cast the spell¡K Basically, it¡¦s very inconsistent from spell to spell.  
- Amulet of the Mighty Fists only gives a bonus to hit, and not to damage as its supposed to  
- The spell divine favor is only giving a bonus to hit, not to damage at it should.  
-Someone with a wizard of their level created a wand of fireballs that has a save DC of 111. Minimum for a 3rd level spell is (10 + spell level of 3 + Intelligence bonus of the minimum Intelligence to cast of +1 =14).  
 
 
New Bugs on 09/29/2003 Evening  
 
-Having an item equipped which raises your intelligence (ex. Headband of Intellect) gives you extra skill points at level up (it shouldn¡¦t) but doesn¡¦t allow you to memorize more spells (it should).  
-After reading a few bug reports, I¡¦ve come to the conclusion that when leveling up a newly made multiclass character (that is, taking level 1 in something other that your first class), the game doesn¡¦t acknowledge the new feats and features of the new class. Example: A Cleric 2 taking a level of fighter 1. The game doesn¡¦t recognize that the character has martial weapon proficiency from the newly taken fighter class. There are a couple more examples like this in past bug reports.  
-Crafted wands weigh 10 lbs. instead of 1 lb  
-Paladin¡¦s smite evil suffers the same problem as the Charisma bonus bug with divine grace  
-Item Crafting: Magic armors that do show up in the interface cannot have their enhancement bonus increased. It appears that they are listed in the Crafting Interface as already having +1, +2, and +3 bonuses when everywhere else they are only +1 items ?³ This may also be why magic vestment doesn't increase the enhancement bonus (the game thinks that the item already has a +3 bonus) of premade armor, but will work on crafted armor  
-Myself and other people have had monsters cast ¡§Bull¡¦s Strength¡¨ on our party. Pretty interesting, especially when a Greater Temple Bugbear Shaman on the 4th floor of the temple decided to cast this on Scorrp.  
-There is a mouse icon on the map screen in the 4th level of the temple (bottom right corner). Looks like someone at Troika had his mouse in the screen when saving the picture of the map. Darn darn.  
-Someone experienced a crash to desktop after battling Hedrack and going to the back rooms. There a bunch of jellies/molds and what not, and after he kills them, 3 red things come from the back room and the game crashes to desktop.  
-Someone has two characters making reflex saves for no reason every few seconds. It doesn¡¦t do anything if they either fail or succeed.  
-Intelligence and Wisdom scores above 18 aren't giving bonus spells the way they should, at least to level 1 and 2 spells  
-¡§Haste¡¨ doesn¡¦t give an extra attack  
-All magic armors have the same problem as masterwork armors, that is, they give a negative bonus to armor check penalties. The better is the enchantment, the worse is the penalty.  
-NPCs do not level up correctly. Spugnoir doesn¡¦t get 2 new spells per level, nor do his skills ever increase. Meleny doesn¡¦t get a feat at 3rd level. There might, of course, be more.  
-Dex bonus not working right as it applies to AC. In your character sheet, your AC breakdown will always show some item as inhibiting your dexterity bonus to AC, even if its not something that should (note from Thalandor: Might be related to gloves and boots and whatnot giving penalties like they do for movement). However, just because it says that it is inhibiting your dex bonus to AC doesn¡¦t mean that it actually is. The math is wrong very often on the display. Relating to this bug, additional dexterity over your base doesn¡¦t always get applied to your AC, even if it should. Example: My rogue with an 18 base DEX never could get more than a 4 bonus to her AC regardless of what she was wearing and what her actual DEX score was.  
-Some more information about receiving the message ¡§Cannot remove from NPC¡¨ message when taking an item from a chest: It appears that this message will be displayed when NPCs try to look an item, but his inventory is full. The item is left in the chest, but is now tagged as belonging to the NPC, hence the bug.  
-The following spells are not in the game as per the readme file, so please ignore bugs concerning their inexistence or uncopyableeness (new word woopie): summon swarm and hold portal.  
 
New Bugs on 09/28/2003 Evening  
-You can equip multiple bracers by right clicking on them in your inventory (quick equip without dragging). The bracers stack in your inventory, but only the top most affects you.  
-Since going into the fire node, when I pop up the radial menu, I have a dotted green line linking my character avatars to the radial menu. It won¡¦t go away with reloading, changing area, etc. It¡¦s very permanent in my game.

-Craft arms and armor is inconsistent in recognizing magical items¡K For example, it will further enchant a +1 longbow and warhammer +2, but not a mace+1, spear +1 or long sword +2.  
-Some doors on the third level of the temple re-relock themselves if they are closed again (like if you reload a game).  
-Arcane spell casters can¡¦t scribe a scroll of Gust of Wind (although it copied itself fine in the spellbook).  
-Greater Invisibility duration when casting from a want lasts for only 1 round.  
-When using ¡§improved two-weapon fighting¡¨, the game give the player a third primary hand attack at -10 to hit instead of a second off-hand attack at -5. Also, the attacks do not follow the order from the D&D book.  
 
New Bugs on 09/27/2003 Evening  
 
-Item Crafting: Shocking Burst and Icy Burst damage (the 1d6) are listed as Negative Energy damage  
-Wand of Identify doesn't charge you for material components. Also, Identifying is free of charge when you use it.  
-wearing some regular clothes on a ranger disables rapid shot. Apparently farmer garb is not considered light armor  
-coup de grace critical hit damage doesn¡¦t count in ego "most damage done" log  
-strength domain give you access to 2 spell at level 2: bull strength (ok) and cat¡¦s grace (not ok)  
-Snake venom is supposed to deal Con damage, but it deals Str damage (like the huge viper in the moathouse)  
-There are no sling stones to be found and merchants don¡¦t restock them. Makes slings useless  
-Problem multiclassing a spell caster class and fighter class. For exemple, fighter/wizard:  
1) Start PC as a wizard  
2) @ level 2 selected Fighter  
3) @ level 3 selected wizard: 2 blank level 2 slots open, but level 2 spells don't open (you should not get level 2 spells until wizard level 3)  
4) @ level 4 selected wizard - another slot became blank, but still cannot select a spell to put in the blank spots (as the character at this point is Fighter1/wizard2.  
Tried similar thing with a fighter/sorcerer, and it gives the same results.  
Looks like a Fighter X/Spell Caster Y is considered a Spell Caster X+Y by the game. I have not tried this with other classes...  
-About Sorcerer not able to go to level 10 because of lack of 0 level spells (see 09/26/2003 Morning update): It appears that the bug is related to something else entirely. The person¡¦s bug was that when trading spells at level up, the ones he removed didn¡¦t go away, thus he had more spells than he should. It also happened with a level 3 spell. This has to be verified.  
-Righteous might grants +1 to hit. By the rules, it should not.  
-Sargen (a wizard) has no spells  
-Ashrem (a cleric) has no domains

-have a wizard (diviner) who went from 1st to 2nd level. When he did this, his specialist-school spells got moved into regular slots, rather than staying in the bonus slots for his school - so I had to memorize them over again and move something else into the regular slots.  
-Whirlwind has the same bug as produce flame: i.e you can do it multiple times (first time the action bar goes to yellow, but you can still click on targets how many times you want)  
-When you are enlarged you can equip 2 two-handed weapons or a two-handed weapon and shield. And when the spell wears off they are still equipped  
-Potions description says they weight 1 pound, but they actually weight 0.  
-The quest in the fire temple to retrieve a priest¡¦s mace from another priest can be broken. You have to play a game with the mace holder to win the mace, but if you leave the conversation, you can never play the game again and talk to him about the mace.

-Wielding a bastard sword in two hands without the exotic feat should make the bastard sword being considered a martial weapon. It is not the case right now as it gives a -4 non-proficient penalty.  
-¡§Flame strike¡¨ does incredibly low damage. It seems to apply 2 damage per level, and DR cuts down the damage. Low is in the range of 8-16 from a level 8 druid casting it on ogres.  
-When Otis goes back to his shop after you have him for a little while, he only sells the loot he found with you instead of his stock of masterwork items.

-Haydin for a quest in Homlet cannot be found. Quest unsolvable.  
-Mona in Nulb often does not recognize the Orb when you bring it to her. People have been suggesting that this is related to the Serena quest, but I was never able to bring her the Orb even without talking about/to Serena  
-It is possible to have Rentsch and Wab fight each other in Nulb, but if Rentch dies, the quest from Romag can't be completed  
-The Chaotic Neutral vignettes has a chest at the end that shows as "empty". It is not; it contains map to Homlet. Opening the chest by normal means is fine, but using the spell open/close results in a dead end (players are not teleported to Homlet).  
-Exposing the spies in the trading post in Homlet doesn¡¦t give the 200 gold it should  
-Finishing Black Jay¡¦s dying sheep quest by talking to Corl and letting him go home before getting the quest from Black Jay results in incomplete quest (Corl won¡¦t be there at night anymore)  
-If you kill Scorpp anywhere other than his "pleasure dome" (e.g. after having him in your party for awhile), his body "auto-magically" returns to his original room.  
-I made an Eleven Bard and chose skill focus (perform) as a feat, but it does not seem to add anything, let alone +3 to the actual skill.  
-The woodcutter's quest to remove the spiders from the grove is never marked complete in the logbook. Every time you talk to the woodcutter, you receive the XP for the quest. While talking to him, the logbook lights up like the quest is completed, but the status never changes from accepted to complete.  
-Quests items are not given if your inventory is full (NPC keeps it on him, you have to kill him(or maybe steal) to get the quest item  
 
 
CLASS/RACE SPECIFIC BUGS  
 
-Cleric strength domain has Endure Elements instead of Enlarge Person at level 1  
-Cleric of St. Cuthbert can't choose the strength domain  
-Cleric with the protection domain has the level 2 domain spell blur not showing on the list of spells  
-Cleric healing domain doesn't give the +1 bonus to healing spells (healing spells should be verified in general as people are getting weird/impossible values not related to the missing +1 bonus described here)  
-Cleric Travel domain gives Survival as class skill, but once you are past level 1, it is not a class skill anymore.  
-Cleric Travel domain level 2 spell ¡§Bear¡¦s Endurance¡¨ not showing  
-Cleric¡¦s of the sun domain can use greater turning more than once a day (maybe unlimited or same as turning limit)  
-Cleric Air domain doesn¡¦t give any spells and the domain power (turn Air elementals) doesn¡¦t work in combat. The icon is there but it does nothing.  
-Clerics with the sun domain is unable to use regular turn undead more than once in the game (resting doesn¡¦t reset counter for turn undead)  
-As a general rule, cleric domains are messed up and some spells don't show on the list  
-Clerics can't use long spears although it is a simple weapon  
-People report having the cleric able to Turn Undead only once in the game, after that it says "Not enough charges" and resting doesn't help. This did not happen to me though.  
-Multi-classed good clerics will spontaneously cast inflict spells instead of cure spells  
-Gnomes don¡¦t get proficiency with gnome picks  
-Rangers don't get their animal companion until level 5  
-Paladin's divine grace doesn't give the appropriate bonuses at higher levels  
-Wizards can scribe the scroll "Order's Wrath", although it is a cleric domain spell (Law 4)  
-Paladin detect evil doesn't seem to work all the time. Search forum for examples.  
-Rogue's sneak attack does not work on helpless targets  
-Bards are able to select Wall of Fire, although they should not. The effect when the spell is cast is not Wall of Fire though.  
-Bard's Inspire Courage doesn't give +1 bonus to hit rolls (a user reported that its working for him, so it might be more specific)  
-Monks who choose both Combat Reflexes and Deflect Arrow at level 1 cannot advance to level 2 since the interface ask them to choose a skill and both are already grayed out in the list.  
-Stunning attacks for monks can be used more than its normal usage times/day (i.e. three times at level 1)  
-Barbarians do not get the benefits of fast movement while wearing medium armor, they should  
-Dwarves cannot tumble in medium or heavy armor. The manual says they can. (It does work for other races though).

-Burning Hands is listed as an evocation spell, but Evocation Specialists can't learn it, suggesting the class is coded wrong. It may be coded as a transmutation spell, which would be by 3.5 rules.  
-Damage reduction seems to work against spells (magic missile is nullified by quasit DR 5/Holy-Cold). 3.5e rules state that spells are unaffected by damage reduction.  
-Produce Flame has unlimited attacks and hits all the time (even with no line of sight)  
-Ghoul Touch lasts forever  
-Silence lasts forever  
-Entangle lasts forever and cannot be dismissed. Using ¡§Break Free¡¨ seems to do nothing (no feedback and never works)  
-Invisibility is listed as third level in spell book when it should be 2nd.  
-Calm emotions spell leave the particle effect on characters permanently  
-Burning hands has no sound effect (other spells too, bug confirmed by Troika)  
-Magic missile can hit a mirror image target all the time  
- ¡§Resist energy¡¨ appears to be broken - it works once then dissipates, almost like it was a very low powered ¡§protection from energy¡¨ in that it blocks the first 10 points then goes away  
-The spell ¡§Magic Vestment¡¨ is permanent.  
-Spells ¡§Magic weapon/vestment¡¨ do not increase magic bonus on items that are already magical. They should. It appears to work for some items though, like the one you craft.  
-Having an NPC cast enlarge on a party member in combat, the enlarge becomes permanent.  
-If a spell caster uses a Meta magic feat to upgrade a spell, the new spell shows in the spell list (good). Now, if you edit the spell to remove the Metamagic feat on it, the spell disappears and is replaced with a copy of the spell before (not good). Therefore, you can have multiple instances of the same spell in the spell book.  
-The Spell "Detect Secret Doors" may not be working. I tried it in the Moat house after my Ranger failed to find the secret doors I knew were there. The spell did not reveal them.  
-I do not have the option to copy these scrolls into my spell book: Resist Energy, Fox's Cunning, Owl's Wisdom, Hold Portal, Greater Invisibility and Animate Dead. There are probably more.  
-The demons you can summon near the end of the game never go away, and after a while stop doing ANYTHING (even if an enemy right next to them is attacking them). You cannot dismiss them, so your only hope is to keep casting dismiss until it works  
-Produce Flame is supposed to have maximum of +5 damage (+1/level), but there does not seem to be a limit or it is much higher.  
-Good Hope can leave particle effect on character permanently. Someone thinks it might be related to selecting the same target twice when targeting the spell.  
-detect magic does not work on corpses (well, on magic items which are on corpses.. )  
-you can hold a charge of a melee touch spell indefinitely (well for chill touch I rested 1 week and still holding it)  
-Haste and break enchantment can be stacked on a character by clicking multiple times on him instead of choosing different targets. The effects stacks.

-An evil cleric can cast Lantern Archon (good type spell)  
-Summon swarm is not available to wizards at level up  
-Spells (apparently in the conjuration school) are affected by damage reduction.  
-Spike growth is permanent  
-Grease is permanent  
-¡§Flame strike¡¨ does incredibly low damage. It seems to apply 2 damage per level, and DR cuts down the damage. Low is in the range of 8-16 from a level 8 druid casting it on ogres.  
-Spell ¡§Righteous Might¡¨ penalizes the character twice from for the larger size (-1 from Righteous Might and -1 from size). Also he player doesn¡¦t get the +4 natural AC bonus and the longer reach with weapons. Screenshot: http://site.voila.fr/toeefiles11/righteous_might.jpg  
-Spell Resistance checks seem not to be handled properly. If the SR roll equals the SR, the check succeeds and the information pannel says that the SR has been overcome (that¡¦s good), but the actual in-game effect that the spell fails to work.  
-Someone was casting ¡§slow¡¨ on a Lamia multiple times, and looking at the rolls, he noticed that the Lamia was getting +2 bonus from weapon focus (dwarven warhammer). That¡¦s weird, but its related to another similar bug posted on 09/25/2003 evening update.  
-Summon monster V appears as a 4th level spell in Burne¡¦s list  
 
 
SKILL/FEATS BUGS  
 
-Single handed weapons give the 1.5 X strength bonus even with a shield equipped  
-Dwarven war axe cannot with equipped one-handed even with the exotic weapon prof.  
-Item creating feats are messed up in general. Spell prerequisites aren't implemented right. A level 6 wizard was able to create a +3 sword that gave only +2 bonuses when equipped. Item costs sometimes become negative. More detail on this as it becomes available.  
-Scribing a Fireball with a level 5 character produces fireball scroll, which once scribed into another spell book results is listed under level 5 spells  
-Weapon Finesse doesn't apply to magic/masterwork weapons, only to normal weapons  
-Crafting a wand of magic missile with level 5 wizard results in a wand that can cast up to 6 missiles per cast  
-Greater spell penetration doesn't stack with spell penetration. It should.  
-Feat Quick Draw is selectable by players who do not meet the +1 attack bonus requirement  
-Dual Wielding with multiple attacks does not seem to give the good modifiers  
-Melf's acid arrow is not available for scribbing  
-General feat problems when leveling up a multiclass character. Example: A ranger/rogue level 1/1 taking a second level of ranger and choosing two-weapon fighting style cannot choose the feat Two-Weapon Defense, although he just got the prerequisite. Feat is available later though. Other exemple: Fighter 1/Rogue 2 cannot select Weapon Focus: Longbow when leveling to level three.  
-Shield larger than buckers can be equipped on players using two weapons, gaining full benefit. Buckler has to be equipped first then swapped. Sometimes work with two-handed weapons too.  
-When crafting a weapon the maximum combined bonus you can apply is +3. When you create an enchanted +two items, Holy is still selectable even though it is a +2 ability. This means the total sword bonus is +4, which should not be possible. Creating a +2 Holy item decrements the XP for a +4 item from the character, but only creates a +2 item.  
-I made an Eleven Bard and chose skill focus (perform) as a feat, but it does not seem to add anything, let alone +3 to the actual skill.  
-Full attacks from dual-wielding characters use the weapon in the primary hand for both primary and offhand attack  
-The following is the list of spells that wizard can¡¦t copy into their spellbooks using scrolls:  
level 1:detect undead, endure element, protection law/chaos/evil/good, summon monster 1 (through 9)  
level 2: the 6 stat buffer (bull strength, etc),resist energy, shatter  
level 3: dispel magic, hold person, magic circle law/chaos/evil/good, protection vs. energy, wind wall  
level 4: animate dead, bestow/remove curse  
level 5: break enchantment  
This list was posted on the 09/24/2003 update, but there was a little misunderstanding with the original poster, as I thought he meant clerics were not able to scribe these spells.  
-if your increase your int at lvl 4 or 8 and your bonus raise by 1  
(say int 13 to 14 for +1 to +2) you don¡¦t get the extra skill point for that level  
-if you level up under the influence of a int boost (ex: fox cunning) you get extra skill point (you shouldn¡¦t)  
-Dust of disappearance has no creation cost (0 xp, 0 gold)  
-The ¡§Silent Spell¡¨ feat apparently isn¡¦t working.  
 
 
ITEM BUGS  
 
-Chain gloves, boots and maybe helmets slow movement speed  
-Masterwork armors (Studded Leather and Chain Shirt confirmed) give an armor check penalty of -1  
-Magic items seems to give negative bonus to armor check penalty instead of positive  
-Ring of Freedom of movement (from Lareth) doesn't work  
-Lareth's Staff of Striking is not a staff item  
-Encumbrance penalty stacks with armor move penalty, which it shouldn't  
-Robe of resistance +1/+2/+3 all give a +1 bonus  
-Dagger of Venom cause a crash to desktop once you try to use its ability. In addition, using the ability is not a free action as it should be.  
-Holy Sword +1 gives +3 to attack  
-Trying to reag Romags diary in the earth temple results in a messaging saying the door is locked and cannot be opened without a key. What door? It is a diary!  
-Necklace of Adaptation doesn't work (at least not against stinking cloud)  
-NPC specific items act as if they were on the NPC when they are on one of your PC (i.e. Can¡¦t remove them)  
- Wands/Scrolls of spells that have multiple casting options (i.e. resist energy where you have to select one of the energy types or restoration where you have to select one stat to restore) does not work right. When you use them you do not get the option to select a type, and nothing appears to happen.  
-Reach weapons should not be able to attack adjacent targets (except for spiked chains). Is this a bug or a feature ?  
-After picking up the Golden Orb of death, I could not cast any spells on my party that affected members of my party like healing, bless, bull's strength. The spells would fizzle but say nothing, However I could cast on NPC's in my party then everything would work fine. If I blessed my entire party, only the NPC's would say blessed above their head.  
-Haste does not give an extra attack (at least not from a potion of haste).  
-Threat range on weapons is probably messed up. Someone with a great sword gets only threat range on a 20 (proven with screenshots)  
-plate boot does not slow your speed but lareth's plate boot do  
-Someone¡¦s bolts +1 enchantment bonus was being used when calculating attack bonus using a heavy mace. Screenshot of this: http://site.voila.fr/toeefiles3/bonuses.jpg  
-Cloak of charisma +6 doesn¡¦t give bonus spells to a sorcerer. Should it ?  
-Javelins are two-handed weapons and they shouldn¡¦t be.  
-Wielding a bastard sword in two hands without the exotic feat should make the bastard sword being considered a martial weapon. It is not the case right now as it gives a -4 non-proficient penalty.  
 
 
MISCELLANEOUS BUGS  
 
-Percentage chance to hit when pressing Tab with cursor over an enemy is sometimes displayed, although I believe this was removed before release. Seems to happen with unarmed characters. More details on that soon.  
-In Ironman Mode, "Save and Quit Game" and "Return to Game" are inverted  
-Random CTD, probably related to Secure Rom  
-Scroll Speed "5" makes scroll speed very slow, as if it was 1  
-During character creation, ability scores with no number greater than 13 are not reenrolled. Might be the program ignoring a re-roll when both conditions for re-roll are met (total bonus of 0 or no number greater than 13)  
-Selecting conversation threads by clicking numbers on keyboards also switches the character selected  
-Monsters are sometimes spawned in non-playable areas (like walls)  
-Characters during creation are no centered on the display screen depending on you chosen display resolution  
-Display resolution at 1024 sometimes display character portraits no where they should, like when tracking  
-Movement rate outside of combat is not equal for al characters, despite what has been said by Troika  
-Character with martial weapon proficiency: all (like a fighter) can still choose the martial weapon proficiency feat [weapon] in level up screen. Should be grayed out.  
-NPCs take loot until they are unable to move  
-Pressing Tab doesn't highlight containers which are part of the scenery (bookcases for example)  
-Some NPCs attack when leaving the group (Elmo, Olaf)  
-Some villagers will go hostile after completing the Moat house, for no apparent reason. This happened to me with Pheobius and the two other villagers in his house.  
-Binding a group to a hotkey (like F1) will sometimes crash the game when pressing F1 to select group  
-Pass time icon sometimes crash the game (for some users only)  
-Some tables in the auto-help are messed up (see description of poison effects for example)  
-Paying for the night al the Welcome Wench sometimes results in you getting gold to spend the night  
-Drinking potions does not result in an AoO  
-Mialee has wrong portrait  
-Some items have their price listed very wrong when you sell them (a couple of GP for a magic item...)  
-Once you went in the ToEE and go in the southwest in, Restsch behaves as if he knows you even if he doesn't, and options to complete the Wat quest are available  
-The "Creatures Killed" in the logbook sometimes reset to only the creature you killed in the opening vigette. Reloading the game fixes it.  
-Resting with skeletons in the party results in paralyzed skeletons  
-Troll needs to be killed the first time you encounter them, otherwise the second time you see the troll the troll¡¦s turn won¡¦t end  
-Creatures Status sometimes display as ¡§Null¡¨ when it is near death  
-Weapon quick slots are buggy. Weapons switching around, etc.  
-Pointers are messed up (dialog pointer when casting, etc)  
-Monsters don¡¦t attempt to break free when entangled, webbed, whatever  
-Drawing a weapon with +1 attack bonus should be free action if you move. It is not working like that now.  
-Monsters don¡¦t attempt to use ¡§Break Free¡¨ when webbed, entangled, etc  
-Lots of typos in Hommlet  
-Random encounters while traveling on the world map often end you up in a river, or the creatures getting stuck on a river bank.  
-Smigmal in the temple will be permanently invisible (nothing dispels it) if you let her go the first time you see her, and then come back.  
-Heavy encumbrance icon does not go away as soon as you go back to medium encumbered. You have to move something in your inventory to change carry weight once more, then heavy encumbrance goes away. People have reported same problem with medium encumbrance going to ¡§unencumbered¡¨.  
-After getting Jaer in your party, any attempt to get rid of him (by him dying or trying to return to Nulb or Hommlet, he will not just leave the party) results in any future save attempt becoming corrupted. This includes auto-saves and quick saves  
-During character creation, a bug showed up where I could no longer add/remove characters to the party. The "begin adventure" button turned into the in-game lower right panel. Managed to get around it by hitting "Create" and canceling out of it. Occurred after adding/removing some pre-generated characters to the party.  
-NPC Zert could not attack any enemies (at least in the moat house) unless he chose Full Attack and he was still referred as ¡§Inn Guest¡¨ when highlighted with the mouse pointer.  
-Minotaur gore attack does 1d8-5+Str damage. Should not that be 1d8+5?  
-Logbook sometimes stops recording quests. This tends to happen at near the beginning of the game (in Hommlet)  
-you can go down the spiral staircase going in air elemental area but not up  
-Scroll speed of the mouse is very slow/sluggish. It should be by default your Windows scroll speed (or adjustable with a slider).  
-getting up from prone give enemies AOO but enemies getting up doesn¡¦t give you AOO (like for drinking potions)  
-Someone has a ¡§door¡¨ listed in his creatures killed  
--If you do not kill a troll the first time around, the second time, you visit the same area the game combat stays stuck with the troll's turn. The first attack takes a long time to complete and then the second attack never happens, as the troll does not attack again. Therefore, you are stuck waiting for the troll to complete its turn which, it never does.  
-Carrier Crawler base damage is -2, which seems too low.  
-Someone¡¦s game freezes when taking The Weaver back to Nulb using the teleport spell. Game freezes when clicking on Nulb.  
-Critical hits seem to happen only on a roll of 20 no matter what weapon you use or if you have the ¡§improved critical¡¨ feat. I¡¦ll test this more thoroughly.  
-Sometimes spell and arrow art remains on screen after it is cast or arrow is shot.  
-Glitches in the help in-game documentation: Cure light wounds for clerics is listed in level 0 spells, ¡§Doom¡¨ is missing pertinent game information in the description.  
-Traps give experience for triggering the trap (experienced this with every chest trap myself)  
-Some monsters immunities are not working. Skeletons, elementals, spiritual weapons affected by poison, disease, stinking cloud, etc.  
-Looking at logbook during combat can cause CTD  
-When Otis goes back to his shop after you have him for a little while, he only sells the loot he found with you instead of his stock of masterwork items.

-Chests sometimes gives the message you receive when trying to remove an item from an NPC
