Moonbreaker is a turn-based, digital tabletop strategy game, with competitive PvP, PvE, and a single-player roguelike mode called Cargo Run.
It was designed to capture the experience of a physical miniatures game, but without as many real-world limitations. When we launch into Early Access, you’ll have access to 50 Units – made up of Captains, Crew, and Ship Assists – to mix and match and create the ultimate battle Roster. And then, personalize those units however you like!
Using our in-game painting tool, you can add your own style to every single Unit. This system was made with traditional miniature painting in mind, but with a few added digital benefits, like an undo button! Paint your Roster in matching colors or give every Unit its own unique look. You can also give your Roster a customized banner, making every aspect tailored to your preference. If painting isn’t for you, every Unit will also ship with a default paint job, which were all painted using the in-game tools by professional miniature painters!
Moonbreaker is set in an expansive sci-fi universe, which we collaborated on closely with renowned author Brandon Sanderson. We’ll be transporting you to The Reaches, a solar system of moons held in orbit by a scarce resource called Cinder. You’ll learn a lot more about the universe through fully-produced and voice-acted audio dramas, which will be released alongside Early Access and beyond.
Moonbreaker launches globally into Early Access* on September 29 on both PC and Mac via Steam.
