Which comes this letter? Who can write that? How could I, I, Desdemona, to mislead the man whom I love? That who has such an amount of bravery, who made all the wars, and who offers its shoulder to me to rest. The paddle and the storm brought him to me, that is not a vulgar paper which will take it again to me. Because it is him only whom I like, and not another. That which each day tells me his adventures between ground and sea. An insane love and to tend at the same time links us. Then why go with another whereas with you I have all of which I dream? "Desdemona was seen with Cassio"... Cassio! You do not have anything to envy to him, your history is not worth his and it is with you that I want to continue it. A beautiful history full with feelings. Everyone will envy us. But by thinking... It is of it surely a jealous who wrote this letter! The men are without pity and want only their happiness, with the detriment of that of the others. I hope that you rely on me, as much as I have hope in us. The man who wrote this letter is without scruple and we should not delay us there. I love you sincerely.

Where dos this letter come from? Who can write such things ? Me, Desdemona, how could I be unfaithful to the man I love ? The one who proved so much bravery, achieved all wars, and has always been there for me. The paddle and the storm brought him to me (<-- j'arrive pas à trouver le sens de la phrase originale), I will not let this letter take him away from me because he is the only one I love. That which each day tells me his adventures between ground and sea (<-- idem). We are animated by an insane love and tend to become reconciled at the same time. Why sould I be with someone else when he can make all my dreams come true ? This letter said "Desdemona was seen with Cassio..." ! The man I love can not be jealous of such a man whose history seems ridiculous. Besides I am truly in love with that man. Othello you are that man ! I want to continue the beautiful story we are living together. A story full with feelings. A story everyone could envy. If we think carefully about it, this letter must have been written by a jealous man ! A pityless man who - like many others - only think about his happiness. I hope you have now faith in me as much as I have hope in our couple. If so, you should not consider as true any single word of this letter. I tenderly love you.
Si avec ça Othello ne la reprend pas |
