C'est marqué .. desactive NativeClient (via la ligne de commande si t'as modif çà, ou via about:flags)

Merci, mais ça ne fonctionne pas exactement comme je le souhaiterais.

Je prends un exemple : je veux supprimer un podcast depuis iTunes.

Je fais backspace sur le fichier en question et la fenêtre suivante me demande :
"Souhaitez-vous vraiment supprimer le podcast sélectionné de votre bibliothèque iTunes ?"
Avec Annuler et Supprimer comme choix. Supprimer est activé par défaut, je tape sur Entrée. OK

Ensuite, deuxième fenêtre :

"Souhaitez-vous déplacer le podcast sélectionné vers la corbeille ou le conserver dans le dossier iTunes Media ?"
Et là, trois choix : "Annuler", "Conserver le fichier", "Placer dans la corbeille".
C'est "Conserver le fichier" qui est activé par défaut.

Si je fais Tab, "Conserver le fichier" est toujours en bleu, mais un cadre bleu entoure maintenant le troisième bouton (Placer dans la corbeille).

Mais quand j'appuie sur Entrée, c'est "Conserver le fichier" qui est activé.

J'aurais souhaité qu'en appuyant sur Entrée après mon Tab ça active "Placer dans la Corbeille".

Comment faire pour que ça fonctionne comme ça ?

Bon, il semblerait que j'ai un dossier /Système plus gros que ce qui se fait d'habitude... il fait 4,76Go alors que visiblement le standard est plutôt dans les 2,3Go.

J'ai regardé ce qui prenait de la place et visiblement Frameworks et PrivateFrameworks occupent 2,3Go a eux deux. C'est pareil chez vous?

Mais bon, si t'installes des librairies via les .pkgs, çà gonfle vite S/L/F ..
Qt doit prendre 1Go ? MacRuby ? ..etc..

Ruby.framework, RubyCocoa.framework et Python.framework font partie des trucs bundlés avec OSX normalement, sauf ptet si tu les as réinstallés ou quoi.

Et tu ne sais pas du tout qui peu les utiliser (bundlé -> fair game pour les applis qui ont besoin de scripting) donc je suggérerais de pas y toucher.

Je suis sur Snow, mais mon python a moi fait 413Mo . (Versions 2.3, 2.5 et 2.6 qui est la "Current" )

C'est quoi déjà la commande pour obtenir la taille des dossiers avec, fait un moment que j'ai plus touché aux commandes unix...

Enfin de toute façon ça me semble compliqué de toute façon de gagner 2Go sur /Système... on fera avec. Je ferai peut être une réinstallation avec juste migration de profil si je m'ennuie.

Framework fait 1.51Go et Privateframework 522Mo.
Et dieu sait que je ne fais rien de particulier, ni n'installe rien de spécial.

mmm je viens de checker, Finder donne effectivement >4Go sur /System alors que du a que 2.6Go. DaisyDisk donne le même résultat que du.

edit: ergad, Finder doit suivre certain symlinks et pêter un cable: du -shL /System refuse de s'exécuter parce qu'il y a des symlinks récursifs.

Franchement, je vois pas la différence. Y a quelques programmes un rien plus rapide, genre handbrake, mais c'est pas très visible

Phoronix le compare ici au noyau 32 bits de Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, la mouture 64 bits étant dans ce cas optionnelle (et rarement installée par les utilisateurs). Ceci explique en grande partie cette hausse des performances.

Toutes les applications sont 64 bits, le noyau reste en 32 bits sur la majorité des machines sous Snow Leopard.

Y a plusieurs raisons :

Y a des CPU qui sont pas 64 bits, genre les Core Duo
Il faut un EFI 64 bits pour booter en 64 bits, ce que n'ont pas toutes les machines
Les pilotes pour les IGP Intel 950/X3100 n'existent pas en 64 bits

Actuellement, sous Snow Leopard, c'est comme ça :

Les Mac Pro 2010 et les MacBook Pro 2011 démarrent en 64 bits par défaut
Les Xserve 2008 et +, Mac Pro 2008 et +, Mac mini 2010, iMac 2008 et + et MacBook Pro 2008 et + démarrent en 64 bits en option (faut presser 6 et 4 au démarrage)

Sinon, Lion ajoute quelques machines en plus, mais les gains sont pas liés que à ça : sur mon MacBook 2007, c'est plus rapide que 10.6 et il est pas en noyau 64 bits
