Je crois oui ... mais tout est sur le site
Pour les "bases" (copier/coller de la 1ère page du site):
The kX Audio Driver package includes driver system files and setup files as well as a powerful audio mixer application (the kX Mixer), which acts as a Graphical User Interface, providing access to many of the driver's internal functions. The following features are either fully supported or partially supported in the latest release of the kX Audio Driver: Wave Recording & Playback, MIDI Synthesizer (Synth Engine), MIDI UART In/Out, DirectSound 2D, DirectSound 3D (software emulation; 2-speakers mode only), Soundfonts, Full ASIO support, DSP Microcode Loading/Unloading, Full AC97 I/O control, AC3 Software Decoding
Et les limitations actuelles sont :
Under WindowsXP / Windows 2000 kX mixer is accessible only by 'Administrator' account
Windows Media Player may skip files or unexpectedly mute
Lilac skin causes resource and memory leakage
Setting TRAM size to 0 may cause BSODs
Some TV-Tuner software conflicts with kX Driver
Only one SoundFont drum bank is supported
Front and Rear speakers are intentionally swapped by default - explanation why here.
Limitations on SoundFont maximum sample size.
No EAX/EAX2.0/EAX3.0 support.
No Direct3d support (2d emulation only).
Audigy hardware support for some TRAM operations not functioning properly.
Look-up tables not implemented.
Issues with certain AC97 codec versions (including fixes, delays, phases, levels etc...).
WinMM multitrack recording/playback support not yet implemented.
No AC3-passthrough support.
Win2k requires special control panel settings.
No realtime MIDI synth volume control.
Only partial support for SoundFont-aware applications (no load/get/clear preset & load/clear waveform functions).
Stereo soundfont samples not implemented.
Windows mixer volume controls doubled under win98 only.
Phantom CD-Audio control may appear in the Windows mixer.
La suite, sur le site ...
