Pour éviter d'intervenir "manuellement" (ou en aveugle) dans les fichiers ".xml" et ".properties" des arborescences des répertoires applicatifs, je vous propose d'utiliser un "Makefile" pour générer automatiquement des fichiers de paramétrage applicatif à l'aide du "macro processeur" standard M4 et des fichiers "usine" (.xml4 ou .properties4) fournis par l'étape d'intégration avec des jeux de paramètres validés.
 
J'ai effectué une maquette avec quelques fichiers modifiés systématiquement à chaque réinstallation sur nos diverses machines (changement d'instance JBOSS / changement d'instance ORACLE / redimensionnement ORACLE / JBOSS, verbosité DEBUG/PROD), que vous trouverez ci-après.
 
 
 
Je précise aussi qu'en plus de la "substitution de chaines" [define()] et la "génération conditionnelle" [ifelse()], M4 permet assez simplement de faire de la génération répétitive [forloop()].

NB: dnl est une directive de gestion de présentation (discard new line) et de mise en commentaire (suppression du texte à droite)

Sur le coup, je reproche pas trop de choses au C++ (à part que ça manque vraiment beaucoup de "for x in y" ).  C'est surtout les utilisateurs du C++ le problème.

Bah c'est des technos standards (des années 70). Mais c'est vrai que même un bout de script bash + sed aurait été plus élégant.
