T'es allé voir dans le BIOS les options ?

oui, j'ai activié et desactivé la puce (security chip) , sans succès, jusqu'a ce soir ou j'ai suivit cette "notice" :
 
1) Shut down your thinkpad
2) Turn on your thinkpad and keep hitting the 'ESC' key until you see the windows boot screen
3) Hold down the power button to turn off the thinkpad.
NOTE: You MUST TURN THE MACHINE OFF....If you let it boot and then choose restart you will not get the option to clear the chip!
4)Turn on the thinkpad and press 'F1' to go into bios
5)Go to 'security' then 'IBM Security Chip'
6)Now there should be an additional option that will let you clear the embedded security chip.
7)Save and exit bios
8)Boot normally - you will get a screen saying the machine didn't shut down properly due to step 3 above.
 Dans cett procedure, e n'ai pas eu l'option qui permet d'initialiser la puce...
 
Mais ca semble avoir fonctionné... J'avais au prealable bien sur desinstallé le logiciel client security, and apres tout ca, j'ai reinstallé, la puce etait bien initialisée ;o)

on me propose un T60 mais l'écran est HS et le bios est bloquer par le mots de passe
2 questions : l'écran est il changeable ?
une idée pour débloquer le mot de passe ?

L'écran est changeable. Les cracks sont possibles http://www.ja.axxs.net/unlock/, mais probablement chiants.

Bonjour, je viens d'aquerrir un T60 d'occase.
Après formatage et instal en XP pro, impossible d'utiliser les prises usb.
Dès que je branche une Clé ou un DD externe paf écran bleu  
 "Hardware malfunction" and "NMI : Parity Check / Memory Parity Error"",
 
Si je boot sur un live CD ubuntu, les clés ou DD usb ne montent pas.
 
J'ai changé la RAM à tout hasard, flashé le bios pour la dernière version, pas de résultat....
 
A noter que le dongle usb de la souris fonctionne sans pbl...
