j'ai installé Postfix sur une RH9, j'arrive a envoyer & recevoir des mails, je possede un nom de domaine (tipex.org), j'ai configuré mon main.cf avec ces variables :

myhostname = tipex.org
mydomain = tipex.org
myorigin = tipex.org

par contre les mails sortant arrivent tjrs avec l'adresse xxxx@nom_de_machine et non pas xxx@tipex.org

g desactivé "l'adress rewriting"

qu'est ce ki manque pour que ca fonctionne correctement c'est a dire ke les mails arrivent avec une adresse xxx@tipex.org

Change le nom dans ton /etc/hosts je crois (du moins pour sendmail ca marche comme ca...)

Le prblème doit venir du nom de ton MX déclaré dans ton DNS.

[fret@LinGate postfix]# host -t mx tipex.org
tipex.org mail is handled by 1 raph.tipex.org.

Ton MX est déclaré comme étant raph.tipex.org

Docn essaie avec :

myhostname = raph.tipex.org
mydomain = tipex.org
myorigin = $mydomain

Au pire, pour l'envoie de mails, ajoute :

masquerade_domains = tipex.org
masquerade_classes = envelope_sender, envelope_recipient, header_sender, header_recipient

le @hostname est le boulot du MUA. il lit le fichier /etc/mailname.
