[gentoo] erreur lors de lancement de startx

Bonjour,
 
j'ai installé gentoo2004.1 avec le noyaux 2.6 mais apres la configuration de XFree et lancement de startx il me donne ce message d'erreur (comme-ci il ne trouve pas l'ecran) apres plusieurs tentative toujours la meme erreur

Carte graphique nvidia ?? charge les derniers modules nvidia 6106 et sh NVidia***.run et apres startx et c parti
(n'oublie pas le driver c'est nvidia et decommente la ligne load "glx" dans XF86Config)

oui c'est une nvidia, j'ai biend decomenté le glx et mis nvidia dans driver, j'ai aussi fait un emerge nvidia-kernel et nvidia-glx puis à la fin un env-update pour lancer l'opengl mais j'ai cette erruer lors de startx
 
par contre tu parle des nvidia 6106 et fair un run*.sh donc tu pense qu'il faut que je telecharge d'autre driver nvidia?

alors oui je pense qu'il te faut  ces driver (étant détenteur d'une nvidia sur un noyau 2.6.7 love source :D )

le nvidia-kernel est trop obsolète et convient parfaitement a un kernel 2.4 sinon il te faut juste c driver pas de emerge nvidia-glx ou autre. juste ces driver

ça marche sans problème chez moi (kernel 2.6.7-gentoo) avec les derniers drivers ds portage (emerge nvidia-kernel et emerge nvidia-glx). Ce sont aussi les 61.06 dans portage...
t'as fait opengl-update nvidia ?
tu peux pas poster ton fichier de config Xfree ?

oula il y pas pas mal de reponse, donc voila ce que j'obtien avec les driver 6106 en passant par sh nvidia****.run et apres lancement de startx j'obtien bien le logo nvidia mais apres crash dont voici le fichier log
(sinon oui j'ai bien fait emerge nvidia-kernel et emerge nvidia-glx et opengl-update nvidia)

il y a un problème au niveau du GLX, il charge toujours la version 44.96. T'as bien emergé le glx 61.06 ??

je n'ais pas tres bien saisie ta question dois je refaire un emerge nvidia-kernel et glx apres l'installation des drivers avec sh nvidia*.run?
 
ou n'y a t'il pas un conflit comme j'avais deja une install avant l'instal des 6106?

il faut aussi vérifier que le lien /usr/src/linux pointe bien vers ton rep de noyeau actuel

arf ! J'avais pas vu que les 61.06 sont masqués sur x86 ! C'est marrant, toutes les versions récentes sont masquées sur x86, mais pas sur amd64 !!
 
Alors en effet, tu dois faire la commande spécifiée plus haut pour installer les derniers drivers. tu auras les 61.06. Pas besoin d'aller chercher quoi que ce soit sur le site de nVidia.

oui /usr/src/linux pointe bien sur mon noyeaux je l'avais verifier lors de l'install
 
donc si je resume pas besoin d'executer "sh nvidia*.run" mais simplement emerge nvidia-kernel nvidia-glx (chose que j'avais faite hormis ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" )
 
donc je test cela ce soir et je vous tien au courant
 
pourvue que ca marche

bon apres essaye ce soir les emerge rappatrie en fait la version 45 des drivers nvidia et non les 6106.
 
desinstall des emerge et install avec .run des 6106.
 
lancement de startx---> logo nvidia ---> puis ecran noir avec la croix de la souris, mais figer.
 
rebelotte avec cette fois ma souris en imps au lieu de intellimouse.
 
lancement de startx---> logo nvidia ---> puis ecran noir avec la croix de la souris, mais cette fois la croix bouge mais toujours ecran noir

ça n'a pas marché en utilisant ACCEPT_KEYWORDS ???? Il faut le taper sur la même ligne que emerge !!

tu dois taper ça sur la même ligne, c'est pour qu'emerge accepte les packages en testing. Mais il faut le mettre sur la même ligne de commande, juste devant.

bon en fin de compte l'ecran noir c'est normal il fallait faire un click milieu et là miracle un menu et on peut lancer un xterm
 
seul hic il a falu que je change ma souris sur /dev/usbmouse alors qu'avant elle etait sur /dev/mouse.
 
sinon la fentere ce lance mais il faut que je click pour qu'elle s'affiche convenablement et reste sur la meme place.
 
bon mon install avance maintenant au tour de KDE :twisted:

:ange: ben oui, donc apres plusieurs heures de compil de kde le voila termnié (avec des erreur en fait il s'arrete à l'etape +/- 30 sur 42) mais pour l'instant tout kde marche bien donc je suis plutot content d'avoir un bureau kde3.2.2 :sol:

je me permet de mettre mon pb dans ce topic, il me parait tout pret pour
j ai bouger ma machine chez quelqu un, je n ai donc ammené que ma tour et mon clavier (ce qui implique, autre ecran, autres souris)
premier demarrage nickel, sauf la souris non reconnu (USB comme celle de d'habitude sur le mm port)
je la laisse tel quel et tente un reboot, et là :

dans le fichier XF86Config-4, g bien ma nvidia comme il faut (je crois) mais dans la section monitor, le fichier a mon compaq 7550, alors que là je suis sur un ACER AL712 TFT.
comme je debute, je ne sais pas si il est conseillé de modifier directement le fichier avec vi, et si oui, quels sont les parametres a entrer.
 
j ai deja fais des recherches, mais n ai trouvé que ca :

je ne pense pas que mon probleme soit le meme (j ai un peu de mal avec l'anglais, je sais faut que je m y mette si je veux continuer et m en sortir comme un grand sous linux, mais ca viendra ;) )

en fait j arrive a recuperer une interface graphique si je met  le pilote nv "de base" plutot que le "FX Generic" via drakconf. mais il ne garde pas les parametres.
si je lance "startx" juste apres les modifs, il affiche, si je le lance apres reboot, j obtiens le meme message, comme si je n avais rien fait. :(

As tu penser à mettre nvidia dnas le etc/module-preload.
Sinon il ne chargera pas le module lors d'un redemarrage.

avec la version 61.06 que tu prend sur internet avec le sh .run (qui marche toute fois très bien et qu'il met tout dans le noyau donc c super)
ta même pas besoin d'ajouter le module nvidia dans /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6 ou 2.4 (normal c'est dans le kernel).
Donc ma solution est cependant la meilleur car sa marche du tonnerre de brest !

Ça correspond à /etc/modules.autoload.d sur Gentoo :o (faut pas croire que les fichiers st ts les mêmes qq soit les distribs).
 
Sinon, comme Nvidia est un module externe proprio, tu dois le charger à la main, sinon, ça me semble bizarre pour un bon fctionnement ...

ben si tu l'emerge peut etre que oui
mais avec le fichier de nvidia sa marche nikel. une install et on en parle plus meme pas besoin de load de module au démarage il est en dur dans le kernel

Sur MDK, tu le mets en autoload, de même en l'emergeant sur Gentoo ...
 
édit : pour qu'il soit en dur, il faudrait que tu recompiles ton noyau après patch, donc ça ne tient pas trop ton affaire là ...

Je sais pour le building kernel (je procéde comme cela pour MDK), mais ça ne veut pas dire que ton nvidia est en dur :o, d'ailleurs, un lsmod te donne ?

je connais pas encore tres bien, mais je suis sur que lors de la premiere installe du .run de nvidia, j ai eu d operation supplementaire a effectuer. nv35 chargé direct tt le temps !
c'est plus cette histoire de moniteur qui me fait me poser des question. a parait bizarre que ce soit ca qui ai fait partir en vrille la gestion de ma CG !!! j ai dis plus haut que, si je choisissais le pilote XFree "nv", et que tapais directement "startx" apres acceptation des changement, le mode graphique fonctionnait (sauf les parametres de session). et ben c plus le cas.
pourtant, j ai rien touché dans le "XF86Config-4"
