As of now the Kile version 1.7,=20
an Integrated LaTeX Environment for KDE,=20
is available for download (for instructions use this link):

Kile-1.7 requires KDE 3.2 or newer.
This test release offers many new features, in particular the following sho=

=2D new tool system, QuickBuild tool can be configured completely
=2D it is possible to switch to other TeX systems besides LaTeX
=2D autocompletion of (La)TeX commands, configurable (Settings->Configure=20

people have reported problems with this feature.
