siouplé, c'est pour développer (gdesklets) et j'ai pas de FreeBSD sous la main
 
 
je suis intéressé aussi par Open et Net si ce fichier existe également. le but étant de récupérer des informations sur le système (modèle CPU par exemple)
 
autre question :
 
quel est l'emplacement de ifconfig sur ces BSD ?
 
/sbin/ifconfig ?

c'est une commande, mais (sous freebsd du moins) il garde une copie des messages du boot, car dmesg ne peut contenir qu'une quantité limitée de messages, messages qui sont remplacés par les nouveaux, un peu comme avec Linux.

Pourquoi tu n'utilises pas les sysctl plutot ?
 
Car ce qui se trouve dans le dmesg.boot n'a pas un format fixe, c'est susceptible d'etre change du jour au lendemain car destine a l'utilisateur, pas a etre parsé.

/sbin/ifconfig sous OpenBSD.
