je veux pas etre de mauvaise foi , mais les derniere tof ont l'air carrement moins belle (couleur flashi pourrie ) que les premier screen , qui tendait plus vers le realiste ... la ca fait kitsh a la WC ...

Le site Command & Conquer DEN a publié des captures de Command & Conquer Generals. Rien de neuf, si ce n'est que l'on voit enfin à quoi ressemblera l'interface, ici et là par exemple.
 
La sortie du jeu est prévue pour le 11 février aux Etats-Unis et le 14 du même mois en Europe.

Hey all a few quick tips that might save you some time when installing the C&C Generals multiplayer test disc:
 
1. The CD-Key is located on the back of the CD sleeve.
 
2. Dual Processor people: Install the game then go here and download the patch and run manually since the game does not initialize properly with two processors.

3. If you have trouble creating an account, you can use your existing GameSpy account.
 
4. If you misplaced your email with the bug submission links/passwords, you can find them listed in the readme document located on the CD.

Interessant ca, mais faudrait un peu d'explication de la part de The Gentleman  

C&C Generals is using the SAGE engine developed at EA Irvine, units and the terrain will be in 3D. Interface will be in 2D.
 
 
   Air to air combat will be possible.
 
 
   Three sides to choose from : China, the United States, and the Global Liberation Army (GLA)
 
 
   A map editor will be available for C&C: Generals, in fact the game will be shipping with the same editor the designers used to create the 20-25 skirmish maps coming out in the game. The plan is to release the editor a bit early to allow fans to begin getting familiar with it so that new user-made maps can come out as the game is released.
 
 
   Modern-day vehicles along with futuristic weaponry.
 
 
   Hero units and four levels of veteran status for units. Units and buildings will be upgradable but you won't be able to keep your units between missions. There will be 10-12 upgrades per side, with some affecting more than one unit or structure.
 
 
   Supply Trucks/Workers/Chinook Helicopters are to provide resources gathered from supply depots scattered around the map.
 
 
   Day/Night cycle.
 
 
   There will be twenty seven missions (27) in story mode. Each of the three sides will have eight missions and a training scenario, which will be more of an initial mission in terms of challenge than a step-by-step how-to.
 
 
   Multiplayer mode will include a cooperative option similar to that of Yuri's Revenge. Skirmish mode will also be an option. Through the game, when you connect with someone, the matchmaking service (possibly called 'Generals Online', can alert you to what trainers or map hacks the opponent has installed on his or her computer. That way, you can be wary or you can terminate the game right then and there.  
 
 
   Each side has three (3) "Generals" to choose from, each with four special attributes that can be used in the game: a unique unit, two special abilities (sometimes weapons) and a veteran bonus (i.e. a tank general would have all his tanks start as veterans). Hero units will also be included in the game and they have many similarities to the "Generals" although they are really about the solo missions. You can gain EXP though and apply this to modify your army, sort of like "choose your own tech tree". Some tracks will give Super Weapons, some units, some veterancy.
 
 
   There will be a choice for the player to set up AI stances (like attack, patrol etc).
 
 
   Units can be garrisoned just like Red Alert 2. ( la pas d'accord a priori c bcp mieux pense et évolué que sur red alert 2 a priori )
 
   Each side will have 12 units and 12 structures that they can build. There also will be four neutral buildings that players can capture. In certain cases, neutral forces will be guarding these buildings.
 
 
   Regular units, such as the U.S. Rangers, will accomplish structure takeovers. Rangers can rappel into civilian structures and flash bang the occupants out. Capturing structures takes a bit and isn't instant anymore (that was too painful for the losing player).
 
 
   There won't be a construction yard in Generals. The Command Center will be the center of your base, in much the same way as the construction yard was in the previous C&C games. It is also where you choose the General you want to command your forces.
 
 
   With the new command bar style you can click on a building to deploy the soldier you want rather than having them all pop out. That means you can have anti air, anti infantry, anti tank combos which make them even more strategic.  
 
 
   There are Raptors, B-52, etc in the game and they all fly like planes, though slower and lower for gameplay reasons. There will be a special cursor to easily target the faster planes. Its bigger and planes can target each other.
 
   Generals will have a visual scripting language for modders.
 
 
   There will be Battle Honors for achievements, a Communicator so your buddies are always accessible everywhere and personal (fan based) ladders.
