Bonsoir,

J'utilise depuis longtemps Fairuse Wizard sous Windows avec la plus grande satisfaction pour sauvegarder les DVD qui me plaisent.

Je suis en train de passer mon PC sous linux Ubuntu 08.04
Je tatonne... et je débute sous linux.

Et je désire exécuter FairUse avec l'aide de WINE 1.1.0

Dans WINE, j'ai fait exécuter le setup de FairUse.
Puis maintenant, je lance FairUse accessible dans le menu WINE.

Wine/FairUse se déroule bien :
lecture du DVD sur le disque, paramétrages des encodages audio...

Puis arrive l'encodage proprement dit.

Là, apparaisent successivement 2 messages que je ne connais pas sous Windows :
Sous de forme de petites pop-up dont le titre est "Codec handli"(ng ) et un seul bouton OK :

(Utils) LoadCodecSettings
DivXCompressor::Create

Après avoir cliquer les OK, j'ai la fenêtre habituelle
"Le DVD video est maintenant en cours de conversion"
1 encodage video

Et puis tout se bloque.
L'avancement est de 0% pour une vidéo d'une heure
L'avancement est de 2% pour une video de 3 minutes...

Quelqu'un a-t-il des idées ?
Est-ce un problème WINE ou un problème FairUse ?

Est-ce vraiment un problème de codec ?

J'utilise moi-même FairUse sous Linux (Mandriva) sans problème, mais je n'ai peut-être pas la même version de Wine. Il faudrait que je vérifie ca. Quoi qu'il en soit, dans le cas présent le problème semble venir de l'absence de choix de codec.

a) Un codec a-t-il bien été sélectionné dans les options par défaut ainsi que sur l'écran d'encodage ?
b) Les options sont-elles bien configurées pour utiliser les codecs internes ?
