non je prefere me faire rembourser, la mobo est chere, pi j'aurais rien pour tester le bi étagé si je prends du mono proc..

intel comments on prescott performence  
a prescott wil only be around 10% faster than a P4 at the same clockspeed! so i guess they couldnt really find a way to make it faster, this is just what we could see on the prescott benches posted a few weeks ago...
 
there will also be a prescott EE cpu wich will be 18% faster than a p4 at the same clockspeed. is it me or is that a rather small increase? maybe the prescott EE has only 1.5mb L3 cache?
 
unless intel finds a way to make the prescotts run a lot cooler and thus letting us oc them higher than nortwoods i think the prescott will be a flop.
 
intel knows that the prescott sux, thats why they will replace the nortwoods with prescotts as quick as possible and switch to the lga chipset so everybody has to buy a prescott... history repeating itself once again it seems... i hope this time amd can make use of the situation and get a more stable market position so we have a stronger competition and the prizes of the high end cpus drops back to reasonal numbers like 400$!

le P4EE c'est mieux qu'un prescott en gros donc ?

donc c simple le prescott sera devant le P4EE dans les applic preferant le L2 et inversement pour celles preferant le L3

bon, si un d'entre vous va à montgallet un de ces jours, et qu'il peut me prendre un 2.8M0, ce serait sympa (avec dedommagement, bien sur )
