  22. You have just successfully created a CUPS queue. Click on the name of your printer. Then click on ?configure printer?. If your printer has multiple settings, such as dpi and media types, it is recommended that you create a queue (steps 5-10) for each of the each of the modes you are planning on using.
  23. 11.
  24. Print a test page to verify functionality.


 
alors la je comprend pas dutout c quoi ce link qui ma rien a voir !
quand je lance hpijs en commande shell en route, retour a la ligne et oblige de ctrl c pour retrouver le shell..
man hpijs ne donne rien.

localhost:631 te permet de configurer cups (systeme d'impression) avec une interface web
pour ca, il faut installer cupsd, ou cupsys

merci c etait bien cupsys qu il fallait installer,
par contre je configure l imprimante qui est donc sur l usb.
 
et j ai un jolie :

j ai remarque qu il y a des trucs pas clair avec l usb, mon clavier marche masi la sourie krosoft non, cat /etc/dev/mice ne done rien, j ai etait oblige de brancher uen seconde sourie en ps/2.
 
usb init tool est bien installer.

pour l'usb sur une hp,  tu as un port special a indiquer qui a du apparaitre apres l'install de hpijs

ensuite je clic sur imprimer une page de test

personelment je coirs que cest l usb qui deconne car ma sourie usb meme en /dev/mouse sous xfree, ne s allume pas.

tient, j'ai aussi une HP 3325 :D
 
je n'ai pas installé le soft de HP, j'ai juste installé CUPS + Foomatic, le fichier PPD de la 3325 http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_ [...] skJet_3325
 
et j'ai suive cette doc :

bien sur, il y a une petite erreur, ce n'est pas printer le module qu'il faut monter mais lpusb (un truc de ce genre)
 
PS : il faut avoir coché USB Printer dans le kernel, mais ça me parait normal :D.

hum ca doi venir du module qui n est pas charge peut etre,
modprobe printer ne marche pas
modprobe lpusb non plus
 
lsmod me donne, quel module dois j inserrer ?

recherche dans les repertoire des modules /lib/modules/2.6.3/kernel/drivers/ le nom du module de l'imprimante usb...

J'ai trouvé, c'est le module usblp que j'avais monté :D
