Steam Controller en solde à -90% car en fin de vie ...
 
Pour en avoir acheté une il y a quelques mois, je n'ai jamais réellement pu m'y habituer et c'est pourtant pas faute d'avoir essayé ...
Enfin, j'y joue quand même mais je préférerais nettement une manette avec des sticks, classique quoi.
Jamais trouvé de jeux dans lesquels les spécificités de cette manette s'y prêtaient vraiment.
 
Si Valve l'abandonne, c'est qu'elle n'a finalement pas vraiment plu.
 
Mais pour moi, il y a aussi le fait qu'ils n'en vendaient pas dans des magasins physiques, et que tester une manette en vrai avant d'acheter me semble absolument nécessaire. (et si j'avais testé, probablement que je n'aurais pas acheté)
 
Quelles manettes utilisez-vous pour les jeux en nécessitant une pour jouer confortablement ?

moi j'ai la manette xbox 360 bluetooth mais j'avoues ne jamais avoir su la faire fonctionner en BT et le vibreur va pas non plus, je l'utilise cablée

J'ai une Xbox360 et une Steam.
La Steam n'est pas si mal... Juste que le bouton qui tombe naturellement sous le pouce est le B plutôt que le A.

J'ai lu un topic sur GoL et elle avait ses fans la manette steam. Je ne joue pas assez pour m'en acheter une. Pour legend of dungeon ce serait utile.  

Attention, je ne dis pas qu'elle est mauvaise !
Dans mon cas cependant, j'avoue que c'est principalement pour des jeux de voitures de type arcade que je voulais une manette, donc, l'émulation d'une souris n'a vraiment pas d'intérêt.
 
Bref, si vous en voulez une, c'est maintenant ou jamais ...

J'utilise une manette XBox 360 filaire (pour éviter la frustration des accus vidés au pire moment ), qui fonctionne aussi bien sous Windows que sous Linux. Elle passe sans problème sur la plupart des jeux Linux compatibles avec une manette auxquels j'ai joué ces dernières années (Dust, Guacamelee, ou Dirt Rally pour n'en citer que quelques-uns).

Rien eu à faire...
Après, ça dépend peut-être des jeux.
Récemment, ça fonctionnait avec Dirt4 chez moi.
 
Sinon, essaie xboxdrv.

je joue avec le xpad driver faudrait que je tente le xboxdrv

en fait dans steam quand je vais dans controller, general controller settings puis que je vais dans les settings de mon xbox one conroller, je peux faire un "identify", la il vibre un peu. De meme quand je le débranche et rebranche il vibre

ça fonctionne dans GRID, à croire que rocket league ne gère pas les vibrations

Idem, je confirme (je viens de vérifier rapidement car j'avais un doute, du coup ). Dans Dirt Rally, la vibration fonctionne parfaitement avec cette manette. Je n'ai rien fait de spécial : dans les options du jeu, au démarrage, il y a une option permettant de désactiver le retour de force pour les manettes type XBox 360, mais elle est décochée par défaut.

et dans rocket league? moi les vibrations sont actives dans le jeu, mais pas dans le controller

Bête question mais pourquoi as-tu inclus la nouvelle sur GoG galaxy 2 ? Il n'est pas sur Linux.

En effet, j'étais persuadé du contraire.

Il paraît qu'il fonctionne très bien avec Lutris...
Je l'aurais bien testé, mais je ne trouve pas pour le télécharger.
Pourtant, je m'étais inscrit à la bêta.

Je débarque, mais Half-Life : Alyx n'est prévu que sous Microsoft Windows ? C'est une blague ?

C'est bizarre en effet !

Il semblerait que la version GNU/Linux soit quand même prévue à la sortie, mais ce n'est pas renseigné sur la page officielle de la boutique Steam ...
C'est un comble pour une boite qui a tenté de pousser des machines sous une distribution Linux de ne pas l'afficher clairement ...

Mon côté pessimiste m'indique que c'est pas très bon signe pour le jeu vidéo sous GNU/Linux de manière générale si la boite qui a poussé et (re)lancé le jeu vidéo sous cette plateforme abandonne petit à petit tout ce qu'elle avait lancé ou mis en avant. Mais j'espère me tromper ...

Perso je n'en veux pas du tout à Valve mais aux joueurs ou aux gens en général, franchement Valve font le boulot si ça ne mord pas ce n'est pas de leur faute à Valve, si demain ils arrêtent tout sous Linux j'en serais le premier dégouté, mais le publique ne suit pas, un jeu vidéo sur PC c'est d'abord avant tout sous Windows pour le grand publique.
 
Je vais en surprendre plus d'un mais je suis l'une des rares personne à avoir trouvé l'idée des steammachines plutôt sympa je n'ai juste pas d'intérêt à m'en fabriquer une pour le moment, mon ordinateur me servant à tout faire.

Je ne leur en veux pas, c'est une entreprise commerciale, je trouve ça juste dommage de ne pas continuer à développer leurs jeux en restant compatible ...
Surtout qu'on ne peut pas dire qu'ils développent 50 jeux par an, quitte à en faire un, autant qu'il soit compatible avec leur plateforme ...
Parce que ceux qui en ont acheté une aimerait peut-être encore en profiter un peu, même si ce n'est pas mon cas ...
 
Au final, j'espère qu'on ne va pas se retrouver avec moins de nouveaux jeux natifs sous Linux qu'avant 2012.

 
Moins de AAA que ces dernières années certainement.
Les devs ou les petites structures indés ont intérêt à grappiller quelques parts de marché chez les manchots.  

Les indés préfèrent se reposer sur Wine/proton que faire du natif.  
C'est la même problématique qu'avec Gog, il vaut mieux faire un seul et unique binaire (Steam Windows) plutôt que se faire chier à créer xx différents binaires qui auront leurs rapports de bugs qui vont faire chier sans parler que certains sont très bruyants et chiants.

Je crois que leur stratégie est d'avoir des joueurs sous Linux. Pas obligatoirement des jeux natifs. Ils construisent un écosystème dans lequel Win ne serait idéalement plus nécéssaire. Carmack était pas mal en faveur de WINE comme solution temporaire pour avoir un écosystème ludique sous Linux.

On ne peut pas dire que WINE, Proton et compagnie ne se soient pas améliorés ces dernières années, cela dit, on en revient au point de départ finalement. (sauf que c'est simplifié par l'intégration à Steam, et que ça évolue)
 
Si ça fonctionne, pourquoi pas. Tant qu'on ne se sent pas trop frustré / privé comme on l'a été pendant longtemps.

Quelque part, pour moi, c'est très frustrant.
L'embellie a été soudaine et colossale, et là, j'ai l'impression d'une régression.

C'est mon sentiment aussi, mais on ne peut rien y faire malheureusement.

 
Avec proton, on a pas de support Linux officiel. Ceci dit je ne crache pas dessus.
 
Et je suis frustré aussi. il y a longtemps, j'espérais un peu des jeux natifs plus rapides que leur version windows. Je ne verrai pas ça avant longtemps.

Nous n’aurons jamais de AAA natif sous Linux, faut pas se leurrer. Au pire, les AA de grande envergure comme Everspace.
 
Moi je suis toujours embêté, je sais pas si j’achète mes jeux Windows/Linux sur GoG ou Steam ...
