J'envisage d'acheter une camera extérieur avec vision nocturne, donc à priori un modèle avec LED IR intégrées.
Mais je me suis dit que, tant qu'à avoir des LED allumées toute la nuit, pourquoi ne pas installer un caméra "jour seulement"+ un petit projecteur à LED visibles que j'allumerais automatiquement dès la tombée de la nuit.
J'y verrais 2 avantages:

• Les caméras sans LED IR sont moins chères (ok, pas forcément de beaucoup)
• Surtout, en temps qu'humain non équipé de capteur infrarouge, je profiterais aussi du projecteur la nuit.

Est-ce que quelqu’un a déjà testé cela ? Les caméras fonctionnent-elles correctement avec une source de lumière LED blanches?

IMHO, you won't save much money even if you could find a outdoor IP Camera that has no IR LEDs.
 
If you need more night distance. You can still use the external IR LED light source, with the internal IR LEDs of the camera.

I'm sure the price difference is not big .
But as I'm going to have some LEDs on all night, I'd prefer having visible light rather than IR (for security reasons, away burglar or myself falling down stairs).
Obviously I can install both (IR+visible), but it's a few Watt more all the night...

In that case, you may wish to look for a IP camera that allows you to set IR On/Off Manually. Many if not most do allow this. Because personally. I have not seen a cheap outdoor IP Camera that you can buy, that does not include IR lights.

In fact I just want not to  add another electric consumer if it' not necessary. (10W x 10h x 365days = 36kwh/year. Not a lot but plus the ADSL and domo Box and all other hiden consumer...)
It's why if I can use visible light source + daylight camera (or with IR off) during night I'll be happy. Can I ?

It really would be hard to guess without knowing how many meters you intend to want to have the camera see at night, with a visible light source.
 
Most of the cameras, don't do so well, for long distances, say 10 meters or more, at night, using visible light sources.

I'll do a test with my cheap daylight indoor camera and a visible LED light source.
