Once I removed the heat spreaders I found some clean looking IC's that have been labeled via OCZ's laser etcher. It is common knowledge that OCZ removes the original markings and relabels the memory for internal warranty purposes, so these numbers don't mean much. After taking out the trusty flashlight and holding the memory at some extreme angles I was able to see the original markings from the packager that were present before OCZ placed their own markings on top of them. The markings underneath turned out to be: V58C2256804SAT5B. After looking them up we found them to be ProMOS IC's rated for DDR400 performance levels. If you have not heard of ProMOS don't worry as they are a large Taiwanese memory chip manufacturer and the parent company of Mosel Vitelic.

salut, moi je pensse que les ram ocz ..... c est de l arnaque voila pourquoi:
j ai acheter de la ram samsung 3200 et mes timings sont equivalent aux autre voir mieux que certaine marque reputer (j ai passe en 2T / 3/ 2 / 3 ) et apres avoir vu ces capacite je l ai conseille a un pote et il obtiens la meme chose alors franchement vu la differance de prix.............
 

les OCZ on en trouve ici, a de bons prix, moins cher k'en france en tout cas !

et avec ta samsung tu tiens 230 Mhz en synchro avec des timmings de 2-2-2-5 en pc 3200 peut etre?
et puis sont elles garantie a vie tes samsungs?
et en désynchro elle vallent quoi?
parce que je veux pas te vexer mais tes timmings sont pas des masses impressionants quand meme
 
et ta config c quoi? parce que si c du P2 c sur que t'as pas besoin de taper tres pointu au niveau de la ram....
