Quelques nouvelles que je traduirais quand j'aurai le temps:
So, strange things:
First, I removed my video card, then putted in another PCI video card (we will call it "video card 2" ). The PC did a normal bip at the start, but nothing was showing up on the screen, not even the BIOS loading.
So, I putted back my first video card, putted on the TV tuner card that I have removed a while ago, and the motherboard video exit worked, I was able to see the desktop in normal mode (not safe mode). However, the keyboard and mouse still don't work! I tried to connect my digital camera, and the PC doesn't react. The same thing happens in safe mode.
Then I tried to put back the "video card 2". This time, the BIOS was showing, but after the Windows XP load screen, I showed up a black screen, just like with my first video card, I don't understand why, given that it's a different video card.
The display, mouse and keyboard work with my Ubuntu set-up on my other hard drive.
The problem was caused when I tried to reinstall the Nvidia drivers on my XP, so I can understand that the display doesn't show of, but then why the PC doesn't want to reconize my keyboard, mouse and external USB stuff, given that it worked perfectly before I tried to reinstall the drivers only for the video card?
If I can get the mouse or keyboard to work, I would be able to replace the Nvidia driver in safe mode, but unfortunately it doesn't seems to work.
