Advanced Replacement RMA Service:
Maxtor will ship your replacement product(s) first, then you will have 30 days to ship us your defective product(s). Maxtor will aim to issue an RMA number within 1 business day of your online request, call, or fax (Advance Replacements cannot be processed via E-mail), and will strive to ship replacement(s) within 2 business days. There is a 2-product limit on advance replacement RMA's. You will be asked for a credit card number to secure the replacement(s). Your account will only be billed for defective product(s) not received within 30 days. (Distributor and OEM customers, your Maxtor account will be billed after 30 days and a credit card will not be required). Replacements will be shipped by a second day air service.
