Sur un portable HP Pavilion ze4454EA, le taux d'occupation CPU est de 100% en permanence... :heink: Le PC met une heure à booter, une heure à lancer n'importe quel logiciel ou à ouvrir le moindre menu, une heure à s'éteindre, etc... Pas pratique !
 
Je penchais pour un pilote buggé ou mal installé/désinstallé. Manque de bol ça le fait aussi en mode sans échec. :/ De plus la propriétaire du portable en question n'a rien installé ou modifier récemment dessus. L'utilisation qu'elle en fait est très basique. Il tourne sous XP SP2 à jour, l'antivirus c'est Norton (je sais plus quelle année mais 2003, 2004 ou 2005). J'ai essayé de désactiver tous les processus les uns après les autres mais le taux d'occupation ne redescent jamais et ça finit pas rebooter quand je coupe la chique à un processus HP essentiel (ceux avec des noms à la mords moi le noeud :o)...
 
Avant de balancer ce topic sur Hardware, auriez-vous des idées sur une cause logiciel du problème ? :D

Argh, j'ai plus le PC sous la main là. :(  
 
Si mes souvenirs sont bons, aucun service n'était à 100%. Sinon je l'aurais tué direct, sans chercher à taton celui qui pose problème. :/

Si même le démarrage ou l'arrêt sont très longs, je pencherais pour un problème de disque dur. A vérifier...

mouairff .... j'y crois  pas trop. avec un disque a problème, ça passerait son temps à gratter et/ou des softs auraient des problèmes, mais la le taux d'utilisation du proc est à 100%, ça sent plutôt le bug soft, non ? doit y avoir un un servie qui boucle à 100 % quelquepart ?!

Faut voir déjà si un process en particulier lui mange tout. Si ça se trouve, il dit simplement que la CPU est à 100% alors que c'est juste un problème de ralentissements qui pourrait faire penser que le CPU sature.

Oui j'ai tout de ralenti, mais bon le gestionnaire de tâche de wiwin me dit que le CPU est à 100%, c'est pas une supposition.

possible, un bon petit memtest+ test du dd s'impose...  
 
pour les nostalgiques t'as pas appuyer sur la touche turbo par hasard ;)

C'est un HP qui a deux ans tout au plus, la touche turbo ça n'existe plus depuis pfiouuuuuuuuu, au moins 6-7 ans. [:ddr555]

J'ai récupéré le portable. :)
 
Donc il s'avère que c'est le processus SYSTEM qui est scotché à 90% d'occupation CPU en permanence... :heink:

Tu es bien sur un HP avec Wanadoo ?
 
Tu peux effacer cette ligne mais ce n'est pas elle qui te ralentit :

Je donne la solution au problème, ça peut toujours intéresser quelqu'un un jour ou l'autre. :)
 
C'était le disque dur, ou la carte mère, qui avait un problème... Le portable étant sous garantie, il a été réparé par le vendeur (la FNAC en l'occurrence), qui mentionne une "réparation de panne mécanique" sur son bordereau.
