Bonjour,
 
je cherche à compiler un fichier .tex
je tape "latex mon_fichier.tex" dans l'invite de commande
et là je récupère "mon_fichier.aux" ainsi que "mon_fichier.log" mais je n'ai pas de "mon_fichier.dvi" ???!!!
Voici le fichier .log Je le mets ici pas pour ke vous le lisiez en entier mais plutôt la DERNIERE LIGNE.

il contient rien ton document (d'affichable), \maketitle est commenté.
Essaye de décommenter \maketitle et tu auras la page de garde.
Renseigne aussi les différents champs :

\date{16/7/2005}
et ajoute aussi après \maketitle  pour  agrémenter le test  
\section{ma section}

\subsection{ma sous section}

Au fait merci, c t exactement ça, le fichier était trop pauvre pour qu'il daigne en faire un dvi !
J'ai pu me mettre à rédiger mes premières lignes de LaTeX ! Je m'en sers pour écrire des formules mathématiques et je me familiarise avec des fichiers tex sur le net. Si tu en as kelkes un à m'indiquer je suis preneur ! Merci encore  

sur ce topic il y a des personnes compétentes qui pourront t'aider   car je suis loin de connaître ne serait ce les 1% de LaTex.
