j'ai acheté un nouveau DD de 160 Go 'maxtor' et il n'est reconnu que comme un 128 Go ... sous win XP avec une carte controleur IDE silicon image CMD 0649. comment faire ? le bios de la carte controleur n'est pas flashable ...

MaxBlast 3 serait il la solution ? j'ai jms aimé ce genre de prog mais bon ...

Il faut des controlleur UDMA133 pour des disques > a 128GO, y'a rien a y faire a part les maxblast, ezbios & co.

 
ok et tu me conseillerais de mettre maxblast ?

si j'install le SP1 de XP avec Maxtor Big Drive Enabler ça marchera ?

 
apparemment ça serait plus une limitation de windows à 137 Go j'ai lu ... pcq ma carte controleur IDE 100 fait le 48bit adressing donc elle supporte les disk au delà de 137 Go d'apres le site ...
 
et en fait leurs 137 Go ça correspond en fait bien a 128 vrai Go.

mtn j'ai une autre question, j'ai mes 128 Go partitionné ... si j'achete une carte UDMA133 plus tard, je pourrais réalloué les 32 Go qui reste je suppose ...
