j'ai réinstallé tout mon PC, avec windows 2000, j'ai installé le SP2, puis Directx 8.1, puis driver de capture ATI 6.13.10.5118, puis les drivers 5.13.01.6037, puis MM7.6, mais voila, l'icone TV n'apparait pas dans le launchpad ATI, et quand je lance l'appli avec atimmc.exe /tv+ marche po non plus ; je veux dire y a rien, je clique y a rien, même pas un bug
C'est quoi mon problème ?

je n'ai pas une carte d'acquisition ATI mais une simple Radeon VE.
J'avais une question à te poser a propos des driver 6037. Je fonctionne sous XP. Et de temps en temps j'ai le droit à un superbe écran bleu m'indiquant qu'il y a de gros problême avec le driver de la carte vidéo. Résultat je suis obligé de rebooter
 
As tu vu ce phénomene?
 
Ce driver est à mon avis source de problême! C'est pourquoi je prefere rester avec ATI MMC 7.5 tant que je n'ai pas résolu ce problême.

En fait, j'ai pas ton pb sous 2000 avec le driver 6037 avec une ATI AIW Radeon.
Par contre, je suis revenu à MMC 7.2 (le 7.5 n'est pas fait pour 2000) et là tout est ok.
Le 7.6 apparemment fusionne les versions 9x,2k et XP. Mais c'est pas o point !
Je pense que mon pb de détection de tuner TV vient du driver de capture.

Je vois,
 
comme d'habitude chez ATI, les deniers soft/driver en date ne sont jamais au point!
faut attendre encore...

fred: as tu installe le module c'acquisition d'ati? TV-CAPTURE-WDM-6-13-10-5118.EXE ? En effet depuis les derniers drivers 6037, il est separe des drivers! (avantage: gain de place, mulit OS...)
 
De mon cote tout marche bien avec W2K, MMC7.6, et les drivers 6037 !    
 
PS pour DTSMan, ca fait longtemps que je n'ai pas vu un ecran bleu cause par ma radeon!  

moi pareil pb. tuner tv pb et perf open gl minable....
retour 7.0....

Je viens d'installer les driver 6052 et là a priori plus de bug avec écran bleu mais impossible de lire correctement un DVD (surtout les menus) avec ATI player!
 
C'est vraiement dommage car un réglage "theater mode" avait été ajouté dans l'onglet superposition

Ils préconisent pas de commencer par le pilote puis d'installer le log. de capture?

J'ai installé d'abord le driver WDM puis le driver, puis le driver AIW Radeon puis MMC comme marqué dans les écrans d'installation.
Après j'ai effacé et j'ai essayé, driver AIW Radeon, driver capture WDM puis MMC.
Aucune des deux solutions de marche.
Pourtant dans les gestionnaires de périphériques, il y a bien installé ATI Theater Tuner et d'autres composant.
Y a un moyen de savoir si le drivers WDM est bien installé ?

The Recommended ATI Display Drivers may be installed prior to installing tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118.exe, however you may encounter UNKNOWN DEVICES during NEW HARDWARE detection. This is known to occur with fresh installs of Windows Millennium.

C) USING tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118.exe
 
Overview
 
There are two phases to the installation of a driver that has been downloaded from the ATI WEB site.
 
The first phase occurs when you run the tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118.exe program.
 
This phase creates a temporary directory on the system disk and unpacks all the individual files that make up the ATI software bundle.
 
In the second phase the ATI SETUP program is launched from the temporary directory created in the first phase. ATI SETUP installs the software (from the temporary directory) into the operating system.
 
Steps
 
a) You must download tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118.exe and save it to a directory on your systems hard disk.  
For example C:\temp is a common directory used to initially save a file into.  
 
b) Once you have downloaded tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118.exe,
- Close all programs
- Click the START button and select the RUN menu item.
- Click the BROWSE button.
- Browse to the directory where tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118.exe was saved.
- Select tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118.exe and click OK to run the program.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
 
! The individual files will be unpacked and placed into a directory on your hard disk. The default path for this directory is C:\ATI\support\ tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118\
 
! After copying the files to the hard disk the INSTALLATION program will launch.  You may choose to abort the INSTALL process at this point. (If you abort, no software will be installed into Windows.)
 
 
Manual Installation instructions after running tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118.exe
 
- Start Windows.
- Click the START button.
- Click the RUN menu item.
- Click the BROWSE button. Browse to the directory where the files were unpacked after running tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118.exe. (The default directory is C:\ATI\support\tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118)
- Select SETUP.EXE and press OK.
- Follow the instructions displayed in the help.

D) ISSUES YOU MAY ENCOUNTER:
 
"UNKNOWN DEVICE" when NEW HARDWARE is detected
 
If you install the Recommended ATI Display Driver (ati.com) before installing tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118.exe you may encounter UNKNOWN DEVICES when restarting the computer.  
 
If this occurs,
- Select CANCEL for all UNKNOWN DEVICES that are detected
- Install tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118.exe
- Restart the computer
 
 
"MISSING FILE" MESSAGE During Install
 
During installation of this software you may see a message which indicates a driver file cannot be found.  Typically this will occur after the system has been restarted and the NEW HARDWARE is being detected.
 
To work around this issue you must  
- BROWSE to the directory where the new drivers were unpacked.  By default this directory will be C:\ATI\support\ tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118\
 
- BROWSE to the directory that is appropriate for your Operating System. For example
 
  C:\ATI\support\ tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118\Wdm_xp  If your OS = Window XP
  OR
  C:\ATI\support\ tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118\Wdm_2k  If your OS = Windows 2000
  OR
  C:\ATI\support\ tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118\Wdm_9x  If your OS = Windows Millennium or Windows 98SE
 
- Once the appropriate directory is selected click OK, then OK again to copy the file to the system.
 
 
VERSION CONFLICTS
 
When installing Display Drivers or Software a "Version Conflict" message may appear multiple times during the installation.
 
If you encounter a "VERSION CONFLICT" message while installing this display driver select the "NO" option to proceed.  
 
* Selecting "NO" will ensure that the components of this driver bundle will replace your existing driver components.
* Selecting "YES" will result in a MIX of new and old driver components, which is undesirable  
 
 
CONFIRM FILE REPLACE
 
When installing Display Drivers or Software a "Confirm File Replace" message may appear multiple times during the installation.
 
If you encounter a "Confirm File Replace" message while installing this display driver select the "YES" option to proceed.  
 
Selecting "YES" will ensure that all the components of this driver bundle will replace your existing driver components.
 
 
TV PLAYER FAILED TO INITIALIZE VIDEO, running ATI MULTIMEDIA CENTER
 
Some ATI display drivers will not recognize or function with the software contained in  tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118.exe.  If you experience problems with your TV or Capture application be sure to install the Recommended ATI Display driver (ati.com).
 
If problems continue and you are using the Recommended ATI Display driver open DEVICE MANAGER >> Sound, Video and game controller to  ensure that all ATI WDM components (Listed below) are present and functioning properly. The properties for each device MUST state that "This device is working properly"
 
  ATI Specialized PCD WDM VBI Codec
  ATI WDM Rage Theater Audio
  ATI WDM Rage Theater Video
  ATI WDM TV Audio Crossbar
  ATI WDM TV Tuner
  Specialized MVD WDM VBI Codec
 
If any device is not working properly,
- Select and remove all of the ATI components shown under Sound, Video and game controller  
- Close DEVICE MANAGER
- DO NOT restart the system
- install tv-capture-wdm-6-13-10-5118.exe
- Restart the system
 
NOTE: DirectX 8.1 must be installed for Windows 2000 and Windows Millennium!

ben moi pour rigoler j'ai installé les 7.6 alors que j'ai une tv wonder (pas supportée théoriquement), et je pensais que ça merderai et que je dvrai resortir une vieille image disque, mais même pas eu besoin... install et fonctionnement ok mais aucune amélioration de la tv (j'ai un cropp des bords qui est plus que chiant)
c vraiment des blaireaux chez ati ... devrait virer tt leur staff driver et débaucher chez vidia je crois ...    

Oui,le driver 6052 n'est pas officiel mais j'ai tjs eu moins de problêmes avec les drivers beta!

C'est quand même dingue ! ATI sort des drivers BETA toutes les semaines, des drivers officiels tous les mois, mais ils sont pas foutus, d'en faire de vraiment stable.
En plus, avec leur unification des cartes et des OS, les nouveaux drivers et MMC et maintenant drivers WDM ça n'amène que des problèmes en plus.
Pour W2K, MMC 7.2 est vraiment bien, pour l'instant je reste dessus.
Mais MMC 7.6 à l'air vachement bien : skin des fenêtres, programme Library, meilleur support de la vidéo,... bref, y a plus qu'à attendre des patch.... comme d'hab.

Ouais, ben je suis sous Win2k, j'ai les mm pb. Impossible d'avoir la TV avec le MMC 7.6  
Est-ce que vous pouvez me dire où je peux télécharger le MMC 7.2 ? Ou éventuellement le 7.5 ? Et tant que j'y suis avec quel DVD player ca doit marcher ?

Moi je suis sous 2K et le lancement du tuner TV avec ma All in wonder pro 32 Mo me lance un freeze d'ecran.....
