non, tu as aussi new String(Stringbuffer) [:dawa]

(oui, car toString() fixe le stringbuffer à son état actuel au moment de l'appel, sinon tu pourrais ajouter des trucs après coup et tu saurais pas si ça va être pris en compte ou pas)

Regarde la signature (enfin, une des, celle qui est utilisée dans le cas de println(StringBuffer) par exemple) de PrintStream.println() [:petrus75]

bravo jean-louis.

et le constructeur en question prend une référence sur le tableau et marque le stringbuffer comme "bloqué".

si tu rappelles "append" sur le buffer, il va dupliquer son tableau (pour pas niquer la chaine) avant de faire la append.

C'est du "friend" de haute volée avec une optimisation.

y'a juste un petit détail : il copie pas si tu ajoute des caractères (puisque ça modifie pas le début du tableau utilisé par la String) mais si tu modifies les caractères existants.
