Ça permet d'avoir une seule partition visible (de 160Go) quand ton FS est un peu attardé et RAID0 reste plus utile que JBOD, ça permet de doubler la bande passante (les SSDs Intel n'étant pas ce qui se fait de mieux en bande passante globale)

At $250 it may be the best overall performance you get out of an SSD at this price point until Intel's 3rd generation drives ship in Q4.

It's high performance on a budget, not without its tradeoffs, but in this case they may be livable.

S'il y a d'autres banques dans le cas (et c'est bien probable), ça veut dire que la crise n'est pas terminée. Mais à un moment, il faut dire stop. Les mecs annoncent des bénefs hallucinants et s'arrosent de bonus alors que leurs placards sont encore remplis de cadavres, ça commence à bien faire.

Pour rappel, il avait créé, sur la demande d'un client nommé John Paulson qui n'attendait que le crash immobilier, un produit dérivé de type Collateralised Debt Obligation basé sur des crédits hypothécaires sélectionnés pour leurs risques particulièrement élevés d'implosion (ce qu'on a appelé communément produit toxique). Les CDO sont de savants mélanges de titres risqués basés sur des actifs comme des créances hypothécaires et de créances moins risquées d'établissements de crédit du type Caisse d'Epargne, permettant de leur assurer une cote raisonnable. Les banques européennes ABN Amro et IKB ont été les dindons de la farce GS et ont perdu 1 milliard de $. Ce sont elles qui ont déposé une plainte auprès de la SEC.
Au passage, ce type de contrat se fait de gré à gré, càd hors marché, et hors bilan des banques, autrement dit n'apparait pas dans les comptes...

Sans déconner, le jour où on aura des journalistes aussi compétents en France... Elles assurent, ces deux-là.
