Windows (les versions Serveur) gèrent très bien le PAE. Linux aussi avec le kernel kivabien (bigmem ou équivalent)  :o

PAE. Une app donnée Un processus donné ne peut toujours pas dépasser la limite 32bits (4GB de VMem, donc), mais l'OS peut, donc tu peux avoir 25 apps bouffant 3Go chacune.

Oui et non:
1. Tous les clients gèrent la PAE, la limite 4Go est ajoutée par dessus
2. Tous les servers ne sont pas configurés pour dépasser 4Go (Server 2008 Standard et Web sont à 4Go par exemple, 2003 Web est à 2, Standard, Small Business et Storage sont à 4)

Pourquoi j'ai précisé Windows à ton avis [:petrus dei]

 

Tous les kernels Linux > 2.6 (après faut compiler le support, mais e.g. Fedora 11 est compilé avec la PAE par défaut, ne serait-ce que parce que c'est nécessaire pour avoir le NX bit), FreeBSD depuis 4.9, 5.1 et >6.x, Solaris depuis Solaris 7, OSX depuis 10.4.4 (et l'arrivée des CPU Intel) [:spamafote]
