les experts, un bon lecteur dvd de salon svp ?  
(pas besoin d'hdmi, ni de port usb, ni d'enregistreur, ni de DD).
Eventuellement une marque au moins (Peekton ça poutre ?)

C'est d'la merde.
Niveau lecture DVD/DivX, etc, j'ai pas la télé pour voir la différence, mais par contre, en écoute CD, y'en a où si tu pousse pas le son, tu entends les vibrations du lecteur.
 
Et c'est pas le cas QUE pour les sous-marques de merde. Le Toshiba de mes parents (un slim à environ 70 euros) fait ça aussi.

Pas cher et relativement bons, j'aime bien les platines pioneer divx trouvables chez hifissimo par ex.

J'ai un peekton dvd/divx, marche très bien, tout niquel. Seul défaut, le browser de fichier n'affiche qu'une toute petite vingtaine de caractères pour les noms de fichiers :/

Mais bon, sans déconner, évites les trucs slims qui pèsent 500 grammes, quoi.
Le mieux, aller essayer les lecteurs dans une fnac ou autre : les modèles expos ont souvent pas mal d'heures de vol, donc en collant ton oreille près du chassis, tu peux vite te rendre compte du bruit parasite que fait le lecteur.
PArce que j'ai écrit "en lecture CD", mais c'est aussi vrai en DVD. Sur un film d'action boum boum, à la limite, ça peut passer, mais sur un truc où la bande son est discrète, c'est vite hyper chiant.

En veille oui, mais avec le wiiconnect et le DD de la freebox, y'a tjrs un ptit bruit normalement.
M'enfin je dis ça, mais ça m'a jamais gêné, le bruit n'est donc pas un facteur primordial...

bah, l'exemple que j'ai (le lecteur tout poory de mes parents), tu entends un tremblement très très chiant dès que le lecteur tourne. Et pourtant, il est stable, mais il doit y avoir une merdouille dedans qui le fait vibrer....C'est pas un bruit continu, quoi. Ca fait un peu comme les horloges qui font tic tac : si jamais tu as le malheur d'entendre un tic, t'es foutu.

Tiens, chuis en train d'apprendre que Multics (1965 called, they want their OS back) était codé dans un langage ne permettant pas les buffer overflows (PL/I, mais bon voila quoi, pourquoi on se tape le C si en 65 ils ont pu coder Multics avec un langage ne permettant pas ce genre de conneries?) [:pingouino]

 

edit: holy shit, ils utilisaient déjà l'execute bit (NX bit en x86) [:pingouino]

Je ne crois pas que Lisp ait été utilisé pour coder un OS avant les Lisp Machines [:itm]

 

D'où ma surprise justement de trouver un OS codé avec un langage intégrant du zéroing, du bounds checking et autres conneries (dont des stacks s'étendant dans le positif et non le négatif, donc un stack overflow... écrit des frames n'existant pas encore au lieu d'écrire sur les frames précédentes ou d'écraser ta valeur de retour \o/), et ce 8 ans avant la réécriture d'Unix en C...

Tu connais très bien la raison: parce que le C n'est qu'une surcouche légère de l'assembleur.

Vivi, mon problème c'est surtout que le C (et les assembleurs cross-platform en général, mais il est rare que soient considérés autre chose que le C et à la limite le C++) soit encore aujourd'hui, 42 ans après Multics, considéré comme le seul langage valable et suffisament rapide pour implémenter un OS par la majorité des gens :/

 

Et utilisé pour implémenter tous les OS ayant un minimum de traction (ou même ceux qui n'en ont pas, y compris Inferno via le kernel de Plan 9 qui est si je ne m'abuse écrit en C)
