boaconstructor est pas mal
sinon, ben tu prends mon topic collé, tu tapes dans les éditeurs, Emacs, vi, Context, Jedit, Jext,  
 
http://spe.pycs.net/ est pas mal
 
leo est pas mal aussi

Pour des applis en mode console => le mode Python pour Xemacs est vraiment très bien.
 
Sinon pour des applis graphiques => Boa Constructor

Pour écrire le code j'utilise IDLE, sinon pour lire du code vite fait j'utilise PythonWin qui est top pour enrouler/dérouler des parties de code :)
Sinon j'utilise un peu Crimson Editor, ca me permet de travailler sur des fichiers dand d'autres langages facilement et en même temps.

Personellement, j'utilise toute une gamme d'éditeurs :
- IdleFork qui a été intégré à Python 2.3 enfin
- Vim
- JEdit parfois
- Kate
 
J'essayerais bien Emacs mais je n'arrive pas à me faire aux couleurs moches et apprendre encore une nouvelle série de raccourcis claviers ne m'enchante pas trop :)

avec gvim vous avez une config particulière pour python parceque j' ai quelques soucis avec les indentations.

Payants mais bon à essayer quand même :
 
Komodo d'ActiveState (marche aussi pour Perl et PHP).
 
WingIDE ou un truc comme ça : pas l'air mal sur le papier.
Il y a un an environs, si tu faisait un projet OpenSource et qu'ils acceptaient bien sur, ils te filaient une licence mono-utilisateur.

IDLE est tres bien pour debuter de plus il existe aussi sous linux.
Personnellement, j'utilise Scite (pliage des fonctions, onglets, recherche facilité des erreurs de syntaxes).

Salut,
Sous Ubuntu, il y a aussi Scite et Boa et tous les deux ont le même bug avec une instruction "input" et "raw-input" dans Python 2.5 !
J'ai adopté Emacs avec Python 2.5 et je tâte la dernière version Python 3.

Eclipse avec le plugin pydev et pydev ext est tres bien.
Lent au démarrage, eclipse oblige, mais tres pratique pour de grands projets.
Pydev permet d'executer en debug (pas à pas et cie...)
