J'essaye de configurer un scanner Epson 3490 sur une Mandriva 10.1 mais cela ne fonctionne pas.
 
J'ai installer le produit iscan pris sur le site http://www.epkowa.co.jp/english/index_e.html.
En lancant iscan, il me dit
 
Le scanner s'initialise patientez.
Impossible d'envoyer une commande au scanner. Verifiez l'etat du scanner.

J'ai ajouter cette ligne dans ce fichier /etc/hotplug/usb.usermap ce qui semble m'avoir permis de detecter le scanner avec sane-find-scanner

J'avais bien suivi ce poste la mais sans succès, j'ai finalement installé la 2006 et en changeant les droits sur /proc/bus/usb/002/003 (chmod 666) iscan se lance, et j'arrive enfin a scanner.
