Bonjour a tous
 
Je viens d'installer les drivers proprio 8.40.4 et ca fonctionne niquel à une exception près.
 
Mon problème est que dès que je quitte X avec un CTRL+ALT+Fx par exemple  mon écran devient tout noir malgré cela le système est fonctionnel (les commandes sont encore prises en compte).  
 
Avez-vous déjà eu un problème de ce type ? Je seche un peu la :(

Oui je sais bien Homer_Simpson
Mais le mode console ne s'affiche pas. J'arrive a passé des commandes a l'aveugles de mémoire

Je cherche juste a pouvoir basculer en mode texte quand ca me chante :(
Ca marchait tres bien avec les Drivers vesa et autres. Mais bon l'accélaration graphique c'est bien aussi :]

Huuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmm... je crois que je comprends mal...

 

Mode texte, ca veut dire quoi ?
Si c'est "taper de la commande", alors [Alt] + [F2] et ensuite konsole ou gnome-terminal (ou un autre) et c'est bon.

Je te rassure xterm et compagnie fonctionne tres bien (heureusement).
 
N'empeche  que je  devrais pouvoir retourné en console si ca me dit, non ? De plus, le probleme se produit egalement lorsque je tue X. Donc là, evidemment retour en console, et blackout !
 
En fait ca marche, mais je ne suis pas adepte du Braille :]

JE comprends ton probleme !!  
 
Quand tu veux aller sur un terminal virtuel (ctrl + alt +FX) ecrant noire tu n'a pas le login
Bien que tu ne vois rien tu peux te loggé et lancer des commande.
Quelle est ton drivers graphique ?  
SI c'est fglrx c'est un probleme qui peux effectivement survenir (bien qu'il ne me soit jamais arrivé)
essais avec le pilote radeon libre

Oui tu as compris. Ce problème peut survenir ? Je n'ai trouvé aucune trace de solution a ce dernier sur le net, seulement des melheureux comme moi qui ont ce problème.
Oui c'est le fglrc comme dit dans mes configs.
Je n'ai aps essayé encore le radeon libre. Mais j'ai vu des post des 2006. Ce problème n'a jamais trouvé de solution ?

y a peut etre des incompatibilité entre la version du kernel/patch et le drivers.
Perso avec une 9600 pro agp et une X700 je n'ai jamais eu ce probleme mais tu n'ai pas le 1er a en parler.
Je pense que le changement de drivers peux solutionner ton probleme

j'ai eu le probleme, pas de solution trouvé
j'ai même eu un curseur clignotant et impossible de revenir en session graphique

LA bonne nouvelle c'est que la bascule entre les Consoles et X fonctionne. Mais ciao les perf :s


il te manque surement des packages : avec le drivers radeon on peuxavoir le dri !
